  7. for 250 MACCO i think just scuffs and paints. primer and clear coat are options. they mask the windows and stuff and trim but thatts it. every ding will stick out even worse. If you want them to do a nice job it will cost around 1700 to get it done right and they will fill in dings and stuff. The best way is to rent some air compressors get some cheap OD sanders and feed your freinds some beer and get the car to metal get some primer and spray it neatly on use bondo or the newer fiberglass stuff thats out and fill in dents smooth it out with hand blocks. put about 2 coats of primer on then take it up there and choose your paint color and quality if you want another coat of there primer and if you want clearcoat layer. then if you want under the hood door jams and under the trunk painted the same color thats extra too. In your case tho if the car is different color the door jams will have to be painted. If this helps you any. any questions ask. the car i would look at some car site or some guy selling that car to see what it has in it.

  11. What?? ABS doesnt help you unless you fully apply the brake pedal all the time to where the pedal touches the floor. The only time i have ever felt my ABS kick in was on ice and once when i was going 50 down a dirt road and used to much brake. You dont need ABS if you ever feelt the tires lock just release the brake a little till the wheels spin a little. pumping the pedal is very hard to do when in a situation. Threshold braking is what i do since the caprice doesnt have ABS. Its where your on ice and you need to stop so you allpy the brakes till where the tires still roll but dont lock. LSD can get you high as F*ck though. LSD is a nice feature for quicker off the line starts and thats about it. if you get it for cruiseing you dont need LSD. If you plan to race it go with LSD.
  12. Ok. hmmm so does that mean i could use performance intake systems for the LT1 in my car?
  13. Since you have ABS have you ever feel your brake pedal vibrate extremely when stoping ever? If you never had this happen you dont need it. ABS allows you to turn under extreme braking by locking and unlocking the wheels. while not having it, your wheels lock up and increase stoping distance and dont allow you to turn while braking. LSD is a drug and i dont recomend taking it. (very tripy though) But really instead of one tire getting more power off the line it will give both drive wheels equal power. not allowing One Wheel Squeelers. where one tire spins while the other one does nothing. But in corners will allow the outside wheel to recieve more power. If that helps you any.

  15. i thought i could get a 3500 crewcab wiht a full size bed with a 1.0L 3 cylinder enigne with a 3 speed auto damn. this options suck I might sell my trade my truck in for one of thes new beasts.
  16. who makes them or how much are they on average?
  17. 1990 older boxy style. Every where i go no one has headers for it. I would have to get them made specificly for my car. its a 305 and not a 350 which is part of the problem. i think the 350 and the 305 have different exhaust port placement.
  18. Well if that doesnt help out. what for around $100 will get me some major horse power. I have to order CUSTOM headers if i go that route which isnt plauseable.

    K & N?

I was wondering about getting a K&N Air Filter but i dont know if its worth the money? Do any of you out there have one? Since $40 bucks is alot for one. But I have been looking at one. E 1500 is the one i need. But Since friday i got some Flowmasters put in the Caprice. it was about $300 dollars. since i need a new muffler any way why not go all out. Also I increased the Exhaust by a 1/2 inch. Now the Car Has alot more go. Im just wondering about going with a performance air filter.
  22. The chip some companys can drill it out and fill it in and you cant even notice it. The hiss is just probaly some brake fluid spraying out so dont worry about it. i wish thats the only noise i have, just one i have is every time I turn my steering wheel a horrible squeaking comes from it.
  23. Funny thing is that at the last minute they where going to pull the HHR and take there losses there. But Wagoner and lutz said they would limit first production month to minimum but when the demand increased as people liked the production went to full steam. I hope things will never be this bad again.
  24. do you mean that in a good way or a bad way?
  25. some reason i had water in my front tire (in the tube) it makes it very hard to ride with
