  1. isn't it sad. Well Detroit Free Press has a reason i guess. The Unions Strikes.... but thats a long story and was long ago. and it doesnt help that they will pay you for info and False sayings. I KNOW FOR EXPERIENCE.
  2. It was a joke, Every time a BMW is in a comparison it is the best car and always wins. And the praise every new car from them. But thats my opinion.
  3. wasnt that show sponsered by BMW? I guess BMW is having some hard times and cant afford 30 minute Comercials. Sad is that i do subscribe to it but when it ends im going to sponser my money to MPH his website has good articles so i hope his mag does.
  4. hmm. if I get around toinstalling my scanner ill enter my Caddy POS. LOL
  5. Check the edit now BV as for I dont edit my post till i reread them hours later. I know they have 4's I was talking to my buddy about a 6 clyinder lumina when i was writing that. I have also been a passenger in a turboed 4 clinder 240, They just waste an extra 20 cents at the gas pump. for what felt like an extra 20 horses. 68 what i ment was i dont want to spend more than $1500 for my next car. since im saving for the new "Impala". Back when GM gave employees a raffle to give there workers a new model for the day my dad got what are they called Z24 beretta with a 5 speed and the 3.1 i think. And that was a blast it was quick and handled awesome and I loved the thing. That day was the first day i have ever seen my dad do some redline driving and some serious clutch poping.
  6. Or jsut save up right now and put a huge down payment on a camaro SS. 12k is a lot to spend on acar that you are going to keep for 4 years though. in practicallity both cars are really not smart investment wise. i would find a 96 B bod for chaep no more than $2500 and keep it runing off of junyard parts untill the SS.
  7. O yeah I was going to make a thread about that. But ill just hijack this thread to tell BV somthing. I got to drive a 240sx *4* cylinder dont know the year and really was not all that impressed. The only thing i liked on it was its handling. That engine sounds like you are beating on it when your doing a couple of redline shifts. the gear box felt loose and had long throws for a "sports coupe." I've been in Chevettes with better shifters. The clutch was firm and reassuring though. I did mange to get a 20 ft tire thread mark out of it but since a Malibu maxx SS can do one im not that impressed again. Styling although not my type is rather soulless, bland, and jagged japanness. The engine has decent power. Its hard to get it to oversteer. But Under steer is almost non-existant. Interior was not great and un supportive. I would of felt more planted to my seat in a two person lap belt bench then in this thing my ass kept hiting the door or the console thing. bumpy ride but it is a sprots car. it did have 50,000 miles on it and already hads its crankshaft replaced and the heads. Raditor rotted through too. so im not sure on relieabilty. For sale $3500. Its ok but I have had more fun in a SC GA GT then this. Im going to look at a cavy today with a 5 speed for 995. i dont want to spend more than 1500 for a car.
  8. I have a question Did they make Stick Berreta's? since I know those are relieable and would be more fun then a cavy i think.
  9. I do not want a Chevelle it sounds wierd but it has a spot in history that should never try to be recreated. Its like a Model T why would ford want to remake it? It would change its history.
  10. ever try to pull an ice shanny witha 2wd? ever plow snow? ever haul 2500 trailor of wood? Ever drift on birms and have front tires spining (its a lot more fun then power sliding) Ever have a poor mans "Tractor pulling contest"? Besides with old quad i had the luxary of unlocking the front axles and having 2wd for speed and easy burns outs. Also when you pop a clutch on a 4wd quad its alot more fun to have 4 spining tires spining then just the rears. Ever do some REAL MANS mud boging. If you dont use your whinch to get at one point your called a pussy. if you brought a 2wd quad you would have to bring a fat wallet since somtimes there is a tree close enought to pull your self out. you have to pay another quad driver to get your quad out. My list Dune buggies 4wd quads Trikes dirtbikes gator carts 2wd quads
  11. V6 eating land yacht.
  12. if you think about it if they could fit a 5.3 let alone a ls2 in a small sports car like this and have it in the teens it would sell huge then to make BV happy they will badge it and make a Fire-oh BV and it'll cost one Honda quad and a rear passenger green door off a GAGT SEDAN.
  13. pure lead body brings the curb wieght around 2.5 tons. so expect 48lbs/ per horse. lol
  14. ive been looking at mid 90's stick Cavy's or 4wd S-10 sticks recently i want a stick back and a econ box/truck its not going to be for power just to drive with. untill the cold air kits and camshafts and other stuff come for it. but the Caprice is costing way to much now it cost me $58 to fill it up today at $2.50. and the truck isnt any better.
  15. if that made any sense at all.
  16. I like the new Camaro since its a art/science design with hints of past years. Unlike the Challenger thats straight from past years. So if GM continues with the Hints and not full out retro it will be a sure hit.
  17. PMS
  18. Its rare but i agreewith BV. i have more fun on quads. But i disagree too its alot easier to do a burnout on a dirt bike. Plus i drive 4x4 quads not pussy 2wd quads.
  19. Are you sure though that they cant bring some great styling from this model gleaming with history
  20. I saw a Yenko replica today. one that was ordered from COPO.
