  1. have you checked hydrogen prices recently? F*CK through the roof from 5 years ago. I had to pick some the other day and I didnt her the price but The office lady was swearing up a storm when they got the invoice. I think she said its almost 2 times the price of oxygen now.
  2. or you boycott one entire company like Exxon for a year then they wont be posting record profits. Then i think that will send a better message because i think the other company's won't want that to happen to them. I understand supply is somewhat limited from what it used to be. and i understand inflation. but if your making 300+ billion in profits somewhere down the line where getting raped.
  3. Cold Blooded...
  4. I guess i will say The body kit fits it very well and is pretty tasteful. the only thing thats wrong is the grill and those rims. other than that it takes a lot of the blandness out.
  5. well lets rent a tundra get a container and try it if the guy dies we sue toyota for billions for false advertisement and saying it can be done no problem.
  6. All around dont know if im going up or down...
  7. AGREED!!! Every time some one asks me about a classic build up i tell them a few things spend the money and get Retro looking modern tires. A new battery and place it and a "Classic battery case" (seen it a couple of times it looks good). Also If the proper gauges aren't on the dash put them in the glove box or have them slide out of the bottom of the dash if they want to hide them. Water temp, oil pressure, voltage, and (if you have a auto trans) trans temp. Are very important if you have a expensive hopped up engine under the hood. Although, The front drums to disk brakes is a very good mod how ever the rears would be a lot harder of a mod. Im very partial to fuel injection, I think its one of the better improvements on cars besides crumple zones and collapsible steering columns. However A properly tuned carb on this car will fit the bill alot better. And you don't need to hack anything.
  8. the 57 Buick link doesn't work. but that celebrity is calling me...
  9. I understand your concern but the 200 4r's have held there own on heavily modified Buick GNX's I have seen them with a stock trans race in the high 12's. 20-25 is not going to happen. I struggle to get 18 mpg in the caprice with a small 305. while high way i can get well into the mid 20's
  10. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku Well Theres a conversion kit with computer and stuff, Fuel rails. You just need a new intake manifold. 1000 cfm also available in 2000 cfm for about 300 more. I would do more research on it though.
  11. the TH 200 4r can handle up to about 450 hp and is slightly smaller and has overdrive which will give you great gas mileage in a smaller package. TCI makes one for about 1300 there used a lot in amature circle track cars. tho you might need a computer for the TC lock up if you plan to have it. again better for cruising a gas mileage
  12. Pontiac Ventura? I loved those cars in the day.
  13. He was implying that Bobo is blind after seeing a 08 Scion XB
  14. http://cars.kbb.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?...leadExists=true its no Vanquish but its in your price range. SSR? Bentley Turbo R ? Lotus Elise? its 29k but its a bad ass car. http://cars.kbb.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?...leadExists=true
  15. http://cars.kbb.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?...leadExists=true So its a tad more than you want to spend but totally worth the loan. Or what about Vette's? Not your thing? you can get in a C5 for very cheap these days. http://cars.kbb.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?...eadExists=false Looks clean.
  16. buy some Marijuana?

  18. A lot of 07 Sierra HD's Sky's Caterra's seem to be plentiful lately
  19. My old washer from 82 finally died in 2004 since then I have went through 2 more washing machines. They don't clean for crap and are prone to "walking" and self destruct. I have a 1970's green fridge in my garage i fire up for summer parties and it has never caused me issues while i torn apart the fridge in my kitchen from 99 seven times already. I believe the only thing new appliances have done is they are more efficient and they added a turntable to the microwave. however if you calculate it how much energy they save and that you need to buy a new one every 4 years it doesn't save you much.
  20. I have been looking around but cant seem to find any of these Diecast cars or models. I prefer the diecasts though. 1969 Plymouth Satellite 1973 Monte Carlo If some one finds these I would be shocked 1980 Olds Omega or Chevette Any year Chevy Sprint 1980-85 Chevy Scottsdale's 1985 chevy Blazer 2 door a Bubble Caprice 91-93 2002 GMC Sierra if any one finds one of these it would be very much appreciated!!!
  21. Well Before the season starts you could use this nifty device but you would get some stares...
  22. Really bad TV show
  23. With tolerances being so tight these days you really dont need to break it in for say. Besdides the gas jockeys at the factory aren't easy on your car. I remeber back at Conners stamping (Caddilac) when you had to drive the cars off the line we would break torque across the parking lot into the semi trailors. Really I only take it easy for the first 500 miles then get it flushed, then I rip it up. Even during the "break in" I still take it slowly through all the revs. Pop the trans in 2nd and slowly increase it to about 5-6000 rpm.
  24. WMJ Why a Celebrity? Of all Cars I thought they died years ago to never roam the earth? I love those blacked out grills on those and the Citations. I really do like them. the quad square lights with the bowtie that stands out from the black. My 2nd favorite grills, the first is the GNX.
  25. I'm just too lazy to fix it. Its not a precise shifter you have to manually line it up with a vague lever. Kinda of like Shifting a 80's Datsun Truck. All the chrome is rusted, It ways a ton. I doubt its worth anything. I payed 150 for it in the day. hmm, that was more than my first car. I thought about getting a Trek Time trial bike for years now. Its just $1500 is a lot for anything pedal powered.
