Congratulations, Robert, on pulling it off and starting your new phase in life. Good luck on finding a new job and a place to settle down. After finishing college with the two degrees, I cannot imagine going back and getting another degree, let alone doing it while working full time.

Saw a Hyundai Veracruz yesterday. It looks decent, from a distance at least.

Mercedes has had that driver side parking light setting for years. I think it's a good idea. There have been service bulletins for the truck's DRLs.

The current Sonata clearly used the Accord as inspiration, so it's not surprising that the new Accord continues to have some resemblance to it, though BMW overtures are there. Overall, it's a dull look, but not as polarizing as the old one. It will therefore be more successful in being bought up by the masses.

As mentioned above, the Taurus has lots of transmission problems. Prepare to get it overhauled at least once. I drive a higher mileage Taurus at work now, and I've seen plenty of other Tauruses with these issues.

Those small fixed front windows on the H-bodies allowed the glass to be tapered, which contributed to the hidden pillar/floating roof look of the cars. However, the side mirrors had to be placed too far back in order to be visible.
