Buick Dealerships...
You mention a Buick pairing with Cadillac...... With my experiences with Cadillac dealers, they are no better than a used car lot full of yahoos...... It's all about who owns the place, not what brand they are selling.

Everyone's talking Lambdas and T900s...
Can't believe that 4.1 anything would make a return after the hell and havoc it reaped on the Cadillac brand....

Dodge Ram Interstate Edition
having personal experence wit the ram and the mega cab, you better hope your trailer has a non-existant goose-neck or else you wont be able to turn in the truck. Mega cabs are USELESS for towing large trailers because of it. and 22,000 is its GCVW which means you can tow around a 12,000 lb trailer with it cause the truck weighs about 10 grand with all that crap on it.

Going to California
If you are a history buff, its nice to cruise Wilshire Blvd near downtown and drive by what used to be the Ambassador Hotel... you know you are by it cause of the constrution to the south and it being the RFK memorial drive. Also, going to the LaBera tar pits is cool too and the Beverly Center and La Cienega where there are lots of fancy Restaurants.

GMC, not GMC trucks
Well, at one point in time, GMC did manufacture Buses as well so maybe this was used to differeniate the two. I know GMC hasn't made a bus since like 1985 so it just kinda made sense to remove the "Truck" from the nameplate since there is no more GMC BUS or GMC Tractor for that matter, cause GMC sold that all to Volvo.

Californiaaaaaaaaaa
the best time to come to Yosemite is in the spring time when all the snow melts and the waterfalls are the strongest. You will get to come through Fresno too if you start out in SoCal, which is the largest city in the country not on an interstate highway. It also feeds the world with our delicious fruit, meat, and dairy products.

Hate Front License Plates?
The CHP has two very good reasons for making sure this law stays intact. 1) The front licence plate provides for a PERFECT location to use Radar or LIDAR on the two lane roads that most CHP patrol for speeders. 2) It is a great reason to pull somebody over and investigate more if you are suspicios of the occupants of the vehicle.

Some closure on W bodies
Finally, one of the last pieces of Roger Smith's MAJOR F UPS is leaving GM. I have a W body and I love it, but come on..... it was a 12 year old platform when I bought it in 00. The inerior is so small for as big of a car as it is. I hold a soft spot in my heart for the W but the Zeta is welcomed and eagerly awaited.

GM May Sell Allison Transmission
This is OLD NEWS!!!! GM has had Allison Transmission "for sale" for twenty years. They would love to off load this company just like they did with Detroit Diesel. Only problem was that Roger Penske didn't want it.

consumer reports
They publish themselves. They are independent, good or bad, so they really don't have to disclose anything. It is all funded by subscripitoins and donations. I think CR is like 30 bucks a year if I remember right, it's not cheap.

consumer reports
It's funny you say that becuase they were lauding the european car seats as being FAR SUPERIOR to the American ones. On a side note.... how can the Pontiac Torrent be so much more reliable than the Chevrolet Equonox?
-
NAIAS Questions
It's funny you say you started the car.... not gonna happen cause all the batteries are disconnected and inspected by the firemarshal before the show even starts. I'm calling shenanagans! Also, the corvette is push button start too not key start!

NOS does the NAIAS: 2nd Edition

2008 Cadillac CTS: Image Gallery
Looking at them side by side, the new one is BY FAR more sporty looking. I don't care what anybody else says. The new one is agressive and low and wide and cut!

Gun Shopping
if you are good, you only need 6 bullets and then there are always speed loaders..... besides the ability to shoot thru windshileds and other barriers is invalueable.
-
Mp3 player?
Flash memory is also more expensive than a Hard Disk and the nano uses flash and the video uses a hard disk.

Gun Shopping
Thats all I want.... it says don't mess with me boy!

Dealbreakers
Alright I'm only listing this cause it has happened to me before. But vehicle vandalism on a new car on the lot is a deal breaker. Loose parts inside the interior is a deal braker. Not being able to understand how something works in the car in 10 min or less is a deal breaker Ex: I = drive.

Gun Shopping
Nice to see you choose the 357! An interesting side note to your glock jamming.... When I was in LA had a great conversation with a couple of LAPD bomb squad guys and one of them was real old school and still carried a 38 revolver, with speed loaders. I Asked him why he didnt carry and auto and he said cause he had a glock jam on him in a gunfight and that the revolver was reliable and he didnt need the extra few bullets with it. LOL.

BURGERS
This reminds me of a story in Lee Iacocca's biography of when he worked for Ford. Henry Ford II would basically ONLY eat hamburgers. They had an executive lunchroom where he would get most of his food from... but when they went out to eat, he would order the same thing regardless of the type of restaurant or how nice it was. Ford would always complain that nobody made a burger like his chef in the lunchroom so Iacocca asked the chef why his burgers were so great. The chef's reply was that Mr. Ford only got the best, so it was ground filet burgers for him only in the lunchroom.
