  1. :rotflmao:Oh wait, you weren't kidding?!?! True that.
  2. Give me the new nose clip and the new rear clip (Both of which are extremely sexy) And then throw the rest of it out back with the leftover GP GXP parts. I am a little biased though, since I've always hated single seaters.
  3. Give me a G8 with this stance and these wheels and a few more aggressive "Pontiac design cues" to go along with the "progressive design" and you might just have a buyer, GM.
  4. Well, the artist really isn't worth as much as his name implies... At best, I'd pay 25-30 cent for his music or performance. Now the G8; that's a different story. This 'ghetto foo' might've just given the G8 enough pizazz for me to actually like the car.
  5. My FAVORITE producable show vehicle so far! This looks excellent! The new grille really serves to toughen up the nose of the Yukon. I think the extended fender flares make it look more compact as well, when combined with the larger wheels. Two thumbs up, GM!
  6. This probably has the most potential out of anything GM has shown so far... It could compete directly with a loaded up Super Duty and make GM TONS of $$$
  7. THE GOOD: Absolutely LOVE the satin trim that replaced the chrome! THE BAD: The wheels look WAY too 'feminine' for a vehicle this size. THE UGLY: Why the hell would someone paint over the front bumper like that when it could have a gorgeous satin grille piece to match the rest of the trim.
  8. The concept of shaved door handles is cool, but I'm not sure the Enclave looks good that way. The doors just seem like a black mass that's missing something now. The wheels effing suck (No surprise there, ehh) The interior would be awesome sans the off color seats and massive (READ: waste of space) sound system. P.S. And the windows need to be tinted darker if it's really going to pull off this color.
  9. This weekend I participated in my yearly ritual of viewing the newest Saw flick. I must say that I was especially impressed and in fact, I think this is probably the BEST Saw movie since the original (Which IMO is the best Saw) The movie really digs deeper into why Jigsaw became what he is and invokes sympathy on the part of the viewer. It also wraps up even more of the loose ends in all three of the previous movies and it has the classic Saw twist at the end. I would reccommend it to anyone who loves suspense and psychological thrillers. It's pretty graphic but I didn't think it was as bloody or intense as the last one. (I'm very squeamish) Those of you who watch horror know how hard it is for a franchise in this genre to stay relevant, but I think the Saw guys have done an excellent job. I admit, I had my doubts about both Saw III & Saw IV until I watched them. I'm exceptionally excited about the new Rambo movie! The trailer plays in Saw IV and you can also see it at break.com. I haven't watched a Rambo movie in years, but I'll probably be there to see this one the weekend it comes out. There's just something about an ass kicking military veteran that puts a tear in my eye and makes me proud. ACROSS THE UNIVERSE..... Before I talk about this one, I want to set a couple of things straight... 1) I absolutely LOATH musicals! I see no reason for some mediocre theatre actor to droan along through dry melody in what is basically a huge pause in the storyline that consists of uncoordinated dances around simple props. In other words: JUST SHUT UP AND TELL THE DAMN STORY, I'M BORED! 2) I absolutely HATE the Beatles. I respect them, but I think they are probably the most overrated act in the history of rock music. I really don't care about their simplistic 'jam' music and I really couldn't care less about what or who the remaining Beatles are doing. With that out of the way I just have to say that I LOVED the movie!!! The songs were very appropriate for telling the story and bringing to light the era and events involved in the story. The actors were talented and VERY well choreographed. And I think the overall result is something very unique that has loads of substance and emotion. I especially liked the scene where one of the characters gets drafted (for the choreography) and the scene with Bono (Who was very good BTW) which simulates and acid trip. Other high points include the scene where the main character punches the anti-war guy (Just because I enjoy seeing people like that get punched. Watch the movie, you'll see why ) and the scene where they stumble upon a traveling circus (It's well done and because I like carnies and weird $h! like that--- LOL) Anyway, see any good flicks lately?
  10. I used to be the garbage truck... Now I can pretty much shrug it off most of the time. I got really sick of being angry all the time. I still have my moments though, where someone says something just right and a-bomb goes off again. I definitely think this guy is wise and I think his advice is great.
  11. Believe it or not, sociological studies suggest that people form their political ideology before they reach college age, so that kind of gives me hope that people like the afore mentioned have minimal impact on the beliefs of our students. However, I think it is the 'in' thing now to lean to the liberal side and I really can see why that is appealing given how bad the Bush years have been.
  12. Unless the car rag is going to belittle Japan Inc. in the same manner, then the issue should be a moot point.
  13. The IS-F is STILL further up the tacky meter than this... But after all, it is from ricer land.
  14. Sure, why not...
  15. I love how 'car & driver' the self-proclaimed "real car guy" magazine slants this in a negative light just because it's GM. These people used to laugh at the Prius, surely they'd welcome with open arms a 'gas hog' that has technology which might allow their beloved sports cars to exist in the future. But then again, the entire outfit is hypocritical since these are the same 'car enthusiasts' that jack off monthly over plebian cars such as the Accord and Altima. Derrr, I dunno, emissions, CAFE, bad green image?!?!?! What difference does it make? Did the Prius make sense?!?! Does it still make sense?!?! Not really. It doesn't sell on looks, performance or utility and it still doesn't make a profit. Better yet, did the Insight make and friggin' sense? And BTW, what exactly is 'abnormal power delivery'? Oh, wait, I know... Just like 'numb steering' and 'lack of brake feel' it's more subjective BULL$h! to criticize domestic vehicles about. EVERY drivetrain has differing power delivery, it's a fact of life. How can we set a standard for what's normal. So, when Toyota does it; it's the wave of the future. But now that GM and the other domestics are playing the game BETTER this is the sumation we get. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence can see why these vehicles are 100% relevant. 1) GM sells a lot of SUVs. 2) The greenies hate that. 3) However GM cannot forfeit the sales and live. 4) So GM makes hybrid SUVs to gain acceptance from the greenies while at the same time satisfying the consumer. Not everyone wants a damn poser MB wagon with a diesel image. In fact, MOST OF AMERICA probably does not want that. GM would be remiss to not advance the SUV with technology such as this AND keep sales WHILE getting GOBS (And there will be gobs) of positive PR for their hybrid system that is "better than Toyota" I can't wait to see what these idiots say about the Volt... I'm sure they'll write it off as "quirky" and "gimmicky" *** It's just another EXCELLENT or BREAKTHROUGH product from GM that the media is giving 'begrudgingly positive' reviews to. They just can't stand the fact that there really is not any reason to bitch about GM anymore. And the fact that even the most cynical readers know this is like pouring salt on a slug.
  16. I hate that hood... It's too "1980 sports car" for me. Other than that, it's extremely cool!
  17. The White House is just like high school; nothing but a giant popularity contest that the 'pretty' people with money win. These days I'm not sure which is the bigger JOKE in this country; the media or the government. There's always the GREEN party!!! (LOL-- Yeah right!) I'd love to see a 3rd party come along, I'm actually registered as an Independent, but I don't think it will ever happen. IMO, the Dems and Repubs are getting too extreme. Why can't anyone just be moderate and do what's right for the people of this country anymore? The government has become a tool of industry to a large extent, so they write policy for the benefit of that industry or those countries that house the industry.
  18. EXCELLENT WORK MAN!!! Toyota's image IS worsening... 3 years ago, you would've been shot down and never would an actual Toyota owner speak out about the brand. I think things are changing, it's just slow. There will always be ignorant people blinded by Japan Inc. but hopefully the masses aren't that 'locked in' to the Toyota kool-aid. What Detroit has endured and still continues to endure just illustrates the passion that the companies have to survive. It's nice to find a fan who shares that same passion.
  19. When, oh when will the world wake up to the lie and fable that is Toyota/Lexus?
  20. I like this a lot! Could do without the seat fabric though.
  21. I like it! Little bit too 'lifted' for me tho.
  22. I like it, except for those cheesy graphics.
  23. That is just straight bad ass... This is my kinda style, right here. I especially love the grille!
