    My sister Heather drives a Navigator. She did not buy it for Fuel economy. People dropping eighty grand on a rig like this are not persuaded by a half a mile per gallon. This is the answer to Dwight in the other thread about Tarriffs. Without some level of free economic competition things never get better.

    I think we may agree more than we disagree. I do not agree with NAFTA for example. And yes...completely open trade is suicide. But I actually use a diffetent metric. I don't believe in trading at all with countries that are serious human rights abusers. If it were up to me I would end all trade with China on that ground alone. I would also block trade completely with Israel and Saudi Arabia on the same grounds.

    Or the Lincoln equivalent? I love the rational and thoughtful responses here at C and G. Yes, but In finity's design language of everything that reaches actual production is rather ungainly. Hard pass based on finalized product appearance of everything they have released since....the beginning of production.

    One wonders if Ford is testing the water for a next gen sedan....although Electrics from BMW, Audi, and Benz will probably eclipse ICE sales in markets like China. Although an all in RWD V8 model would be interesting for sure.

    The future of Lincoln with Ford Motor Company. Probably will have higher sales #'s than Lincoln in terms of sedans. Although they may well build more than 80 Suicide door Contis if customer demand is there. Ford does like to take care of customers...they re started convertible production in 73 for the Mustang because of Demand.
