I am still not sure the marketing case exists for it.

Interesting thought....would add substantially to the production cost to add these options though.

Lincoln News: 2019 Lincoln Continental Adds Suicide Doors
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Lincoln
Sure, if you want to sell it for 350K to cover the engineering and production costs on a low volume car. Lincoln knows they can't charge S class Money for their product...or Rolls money either...- 23 replies

Actually...after all of my ranting, rational and otherwise....the people I am left with some modicum of respect with in the whole automotive mess is....Ford of all people. they seem to have the opposite of the grow or perish Philosophy that pushed VW into the TDI scandal and Nissan into this. They seem to be focused on building cars that they want to build and are in their DNA to build-Bronco, Ranger, f150, Mustang, Edge and the like. They have fleet sales, but a lot of their fleet sales are things like the Transit lineup which are actually really decent vehicles. Not putting a Ford or a Nissan into my driveway any time soon. But I am liking Ford's thinking better than Nissans.

I love small cars with funky cool designs though. Ohhh...and I found a current pic of that lady with the Cadillac in Balthazar's post... Maybe a bit better...

I love you like a brother, but please refrain from making enlightened levelheaded arguments that make prudent sense. They don't seem to resonate here at C and G for some reason.
