  1. The Jetta is packaged more nicely and I far prefer the Jetta interior. If we go luxury midsize Cadillac and Audi build cars multiple orders of magnitude more interesting than the TSX. And I actually like the TSX and would not mind owning one. Unlike many here I am perfectly content to drive a Foreign car for the rest of my life...but the Accord really does not make the cut IMHO.
  2. Really not even close. I am from central Ohio where we drink the Kool aid of Honda regularly. Accord is no where near as nice as the Regal. And while I am no fan of Ford Motor company, I might well take a fusion over an Accord also. I am really turned off by the styling of the current model Accord. I think the Fusion, Malibu, Regal, and the like offer a lot more in terms of options choice, color, interior quality and the like.
  3. The hatch with a 2.0T and a 6 MT would give the aging ST twins and the GTI a run for their money. The Hatch is one of the best looking small cars built.
  4. And both of them have done everything you have asked of them!
  5. Very nice, I have owned two Chevelle's myself.
  6. Sitting here on my living room couch with a Renegade brochure on my lap. Waiting for my wife some can go out to dinner to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Would love for things to be a bit more stable and a Jeep in my driveway. If FCA only had someone as smart and sane as my wonderful wife running it...
  7. Six years later this is still a relevant question.
  8. And years later hope springs eternal.
  9. Glad you have owned two Jeep product since this, and glad they are still building Jeeps in Toledo. Looked at a few Jeeps at the dealership yesterday... Jeep makes me proud to be from Ohio.
  10. Love the pictures!
  11. It is indeed orders of magnitude nicer than the Sentra.
  12. It does look good in that blue!
  13. It is the second coming of the wagon yes...I do not think midsize cars will go away completely.
  14. In terms of actual product GMC has them beat by a frieght train length or two. BMW is riding on reputation and legacy. And showing no signs of being less tired. I rarely see younger people driving them.
  15. Could see this in my driveway but still really hard to justify over the competition. Sorry this is in multiple posts having trouble posting from my device.
  16. They presented an 84 month term on a Civic, so car loans may well be getting longer-term. Niether of my daughter's liked the Salesman. Were I to get a Civic SI I think I would buy from another dealer because that particular dealer is very religious and preachy at Christmas. Trunk was decent sized. In the end, a very nice car but not completely sold by any means. Liked the idea of active suspension damping and a real limited slip differential.
  17. Styling is an eight out of ten, still falling short of other cars in the sports compact bracket. Interior has lost a lot of awkwardness and is quite nice, back seat in the coupe was worse than my MINI or my 66 Mustang Fastback. Dash is much improved, actually liked it better than the dashboard in the ST twins. Seats are suprisingly comfortable. Bright green is really cool but I don't think that color will age well.
  18. So I set up an appointment for the Civic SI at a local dealer and checked it out They were very clear that due to the special edition nature of the car they would allow no test drives. I have a few impressions to share though.
  19. VW always seems to have good blue colors...even back into the air cooled era...
  20. Neighbors across the street bought a King Ranch F150. Ford Built just an awesome truck with this one.
