  1. Post pics and links here of stuff you find that's cool... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/681954-1966-porsche-912-5-speed-coupe-3-gauge-7k.html http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/679831-pics-fs-1967-912-coupe-irish-green-black.html It's 16K and not a project, but it is a local Columbus car...
  2. I prefer fall myself. I'm not racing tomorrow...I'm just too tired and need to spend time with my wife.
  3. Thanks GMCTG and Turbojet for your additions to this thread...all I can say is keep them coming! Oh, and I love the patina of the unrestored Tucker, the aqua/turqoise one. Fantastic, one of the neatest car shots in the whole thread, IMHO.
  4. Not to go off the topic of Verano, but I hear the same daily. Every one likes the look. Some are interested first based on the looks and then others on the smaller size and equipment. Great car, and a lot of demand especially for 6MT models. Not as luxurious inside as the Verano, but an edge still in tech and really fun driving dynamics. Rides better than the TSX in ways too, thanks to the new amplitude reactive dampers. I was very impressed by the Verano, except for the soft seats and softer powertrain feel. Like a luxury car in a small package. Day to day, the ILX sport and polished driving dynamics give it its own edge. I really will have to drive one...but I really was not impressed with the Civic SI I drove. Glad your getting good feed back on the Acura, and a 6MT would be a huge selling point for me. I hate automatics, and I am married to a woman who hates driving them. We have two teenage drivers in the house that learned to drive on manuals and pretty much refuse to drive anything automatic. Thus, the GTI or TDI thoruight for a 4 door replacement family car. I'll check out a 1lx, and get back to you.
  5. A very cool song, blue. every time I hear this, I picture myself driving a 62 Bel Air bubble top, cruising along some pleasant Midwestern main street somewhere...
  6. Get some sunscreen, and get a Miata.....works for me.... Yeah...I am in the refrigeration and A/C repair business...I've been busy....
  7. It should be interesting to see what happens. Politically, I think the republicans may win big in November, and if they do CAFE could go the way of the dodo bird.
  8. Sounds awesome.... HBB Moltie.... You would be assuming correctly....
  9. On a more serious note, I am a current (sort of) BMW owner with the purchase of the MINI, and I was somewhat impressed with the FR-S that I reviewed. More Sports cars is a good thing, and I think the hybrid technology advantage for BMW might not be a minor thing. With dfelt on the ugly current skyline and would like to see another Supra..
  10. Z06-Europeans and Japanese working together is a good thing.... In WWII, the Japanese learned rust proofing from their Italian allies, and they've used it on every car they've built since then...where is your beef?
  11. Oh, and THANKS GMC Truck guy, love it!
  12. A few Benz shots for your sister, Cubical...
  13. I seem to be in a Ferrari state of mind today...there are worse things to think about, I guess.. More coming, sir....
  14. One for Moltar/Cubical I still think the Elise is wicked cool... Yet another vintage truck...I'd love to see some more vintage truck stuff in this thread... Neat old dragster pic... I love Historic/Nostalgia drag racing! I love the patina on this truck!
  15. Just to play with everyones mind, a neat pic with a toyota in it. Hope Olds doesn't shut the thread down with that...I'll ahve to find more Oldsmobile pics!
  16. People are stup[id, but they gotta learn some times...
  17. I see perhaps the 2015 Mustang or Camaro, which should be lighter and more nimble....that I could see in your driveway. Either that or just break down and buy a current generation Boss 302....perhaps the best pony car ever....
  18. Since I like pre WW II stuiff street rodded as well... A continuation of both the cars in mountains and shelby parts of the earlier thread...
  19. Seems like a wise purachase.... Lots of happy miles to you and the new Subie rue... I'd love a 2.5RS model myself....
