  1. NSX has been out of production for awhile.... If we allow used cars in the list, I want a K code 66 Mustang fastback, an Alfa GTV, and.... If we allow cars over 70 K, I could add a Ferrari 458 Italia.
  2. Maybe they could contract to obtail herpes instead? Mitsu has BAD product....not godawful or unreliable....but I can't rationally figure out how any sane person could want one. Other than the Evolution, for performance reasons. And even then, I can think of a lot of better ways to spend 40 large on a car.
  3. What 7 cars available as either new or very low mileage used cars impress you the most for under 70K? Only rule of this thread is that cars have to be currently available to the general public as new street legal cars that one could buy either new or nearly new for 70K or less. I'm going to give you my 7, then I want to see yours. And any criteria for these cars is fine. If your a hair dresser in San Antonio and you want to nominate 7 versions of the VW Eos because that's what hair dressers in San Antonio drive...fine. Just give me your lists, boys and girls. MINE From most to Least expensive... Porsche Cayman R Corvette Z06 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Kia Optima Turbo Buick Verano Volkswagen GTI Chevrolet Cruze
  4. Interesting, Genesis sales seem to have flattened off.... Veloster is an interesting product with a few "rough edges"
  5. And for once I agree with you sir. This is indeed sad...
  6. How Sporty is the overall feel of the car when you drive it?
  7. It would solve the need for a crash helmet if you go racing now, wouldn't it?
  8. They moved as many Jukes in one month as Suzuki has Kisashi's all year....
  9. Holy cats, they are moving a few FRS Sports cars. Glad to see it doing well, it is a nice product.
  10. I'll be thinking of you... And sorry to see your beautiful Jeep go. It's one of my all time fav. vehicles in the C and G fleet, if you can believe that...
  11. Again, glad to see these guys doing well. I thought the MINI Countryman SUV thing was a mistake, but I see a boatload of them around here on the road....
  12. Interesting...they are offering huge incentives around here. Local Honda dealers are doing the 3000 min. for any trade and a bunch of other local specials.
  13. Cool, Miata sales are up. Skyactive is great technology, but its mated to the ugly platform of the three.
  14. The Kisashi has proven to be almost as popular as the Fiat 500 Abarth... Although people are not putting down advance deposits and waiting in line for Kisashi's like the are 500 Abarths.
  15. Golf R cannibalization of a few GTI sales perhaps/ Glad to see vee dub doing well...
  16. I really did not like the TSX interior. One of my very good friends from the SCCA/Buckeye Miata club has one, and strongly urged me to try one out when we were looking for my last car. I'll let you know how I find the ILX when my wife and I test it. right now I like the Verano more, she likes the ILX more, but we are kind of thinking of taking another tack and getting a high fuel efficiency car, perhaps a Used Volt a diesel Golf or Passat, or something along those lines. Still the ILX and Verano are both impressive cars. For a guy like me who pretty much spends his weekends sliding sideways and fantasizing about being born as Ken Block in my next life time, finding real love for anything conventional with four doors is pretty much a minor miracle.
  17. Wow, C30 sales are off.... Another neat car, but I like the MINI Cooper S we bought much better than the C30.
  18. I thought the Evolution was being discontinued.... Several friends have bought new Evo's and really like them...
  19. Different strokes indeed...I would love a Cayman, it's perhaps one of my fav. cars on the planet. And your right on the interior thing, the Verano has a MUCH nicer interior than the Cayman. Not even close, dude, the GM car blows the German car out of the water IMHO. Drive one, you'll love it more. Almost, almost, almost bought a nice Boxster instead of the MINI Cooper S we just bought.... If Caymans come down more in price, I could see owning one in a few years.
  20. Optima is picking up steam, its a great car...
  21. Verano seems to be a nicer car than ILX
  22. If you can make it to Columbus I can offer you the services of a ten year old Miata for as long as you need it. I also have a Chevy Astro Cargo van that runs well and needs a little brake work that you can keep for as long as you need. If you need a greyhound ticket to get here I can provide that. Let me know. I do have wheels for 'blu! ...and if you want to live temporarily in Ohio I know a lot of people in the bodyshop biz and the car biz, I could probably hook you up with a day gig if you need that...
  23. ...and this might beat out the Verano in my car search for the next car... Love it also!
