  1. They crush cars sometimes bought back as lemons, or they also crush pre-production stuff... Still a waste to crush so many cars. And dfelt, they crush modified cars a lot of times because they are either built with pre-production prototypes or the car maker doesn't want to be liable for legal costs arising from an accident involving a modified vehicle. BBC made top gear crush the "reasonably priced car" that they let the "star" race in as part of the show.,
  2. A very rational post that expresses my frustration with Mazda... And why I think they will never grow beyond much where they are now...
  3. Good luck, Any person especially our politicial morons regardless of party that says we had only a recession is smoking way too much of the illegal stuff as our country has been in a depression since 2007. For those that want to say unemployement has gone done, WRONG, thank you for playing, the number has gone down due to the people who have run out of benefits and now no longer bother reporting since they get nothing for reporting that they still do not have jobs. Agreed, sir.
  4. I like to keep it on a track period...true story... One of the guys I know from the SCCA was running his WRX down a gravel road in Alaska at 115 mph...went off road...took out 36 trees...darn near killed himself. Another guy went off track at a track event in an M# BMW...busted a hose clamp...someone gave him a hose clamp..he's still driving and racing that car today. Not to be political, but I see big problems coming just because the Arabs don't give their kids freedom.
  5. This is off of another website, but there are a lot of cool c2 vettes in town for goodguys this weekend...
  6. I've always liked these cars, but the older I get, the more I like them. A quick pic for the day....
  7. Jeep Grand Cherokee would be a really nice choice. I'm trying to ask what new or newish cars people are most impressed with.
  8. Not bad but./..could you really rationalize purchasing one?
  9. http://ca.autoblog.com/2012/07/03/fortune-offers-10-reasons-why-german-cars-rule/
  10. If you could afford any car, but lived in Michigan and had to drive it year round, and could have only one car... What would it be?
  11. XK coupe and convertible are hot cars, love the way they look.
  12. NSX has been out of production for awhile.... If we allow used cars in the list, I want a K code 66 Mustang fastback, an Alfa GTV, and.... If we allow cars over 70 K, I could add a Ferrari 458 Italia.
  13. Maybe they could contract to obtail herpes instead? Mitsu has BAD product....not godawful or unreliable....but I can't rationally figure out how any sane person could want one. Other than the Evolution, for performance reasons. And even then, I can think of a lot of better ways to spend 40 large on a car.
  14. What 7 cars available as either new or very low mileage used cars impress you the most for under 70K? Only rule of this thread is that cars have to be currently available to the general public as new street legal cars that one could buy either new or nearly new for 70K or less. I'm going to give you my 7, then I want to see yours. And any criteria for these cars is fine. If your a hair dresser in San Antonio and you want to nominate 7 versions of the VW Eos because that's what hair dressers in San Antonio drive...fine. Just give me your lists, boys and girls. MINE From most to Least expensive... Porsche Cayman R Corvette Z06 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Kia Optima Turbo Buick Verano Volkswagen GTI Chevrolet Cruze
  15. Interesting, Genesis sales seem to have flattened off.... Veloster is an interesting product with a few "rough edges"
  16. And for once I agree with you sir. This is indeed sad...
  17. How Sporty is the overall feel of the car when you drive it?
  18. It would solve the need for a crash helmet if you go racing now, wouldn't it?
