  1. They moved as many Jukes in one month as Suzuki has Kisashi's all year....
  2. Holy cats, they are moving a few FRS Sports cars. Glad to see it doing well, it is a nice product.
  3. I'll be thinking of you... And sorry to see your beautiful Jeep go. It's one of my all time fav. vehicles in the C and G fleet, if you can believe that...
  4. Again, glad to see these guys doing well. I thought the MINI Countryman SUV thing was a mistake, but I see a boatload of them around here on the road....
  5. Interesting...they are offering huge incentives around here. Local Honda dealers are doing the 3000 min. for any trade and a bunch of other local specials.
  6. Cool, Miata sales are up. Skyactive is great technology, but its mated to the ugly platform of the three.
  7. The Kisashi has proven to be almost as popular as the Fiat 500 Abarth... Although people are not putting down advance deposits and waiting in line for Kisashi's like the are 500 Abarths.
  8. Golf R cannibalization of a few GTI sales perhaps/ Glad to see vee dub doing well...
  9. I really did not like the TSX interior. One of my very good friends from the SCCA/Buckeye Miata club has one, and strongly urged me to try one out when we were looking for my last car. I'll let you know how I find the ILX when my wife and I test it. right now I like the Verano more, she likes the ILX more, but we are kind of thinking of taking another tack and getting a high fuel efficiency car, perhaps a Used Volt a diesel Golf or Passat, or something along those lines. Still the ILX and Verano are both impressive cars. For a guy like me who pretty much spends his weekends sliding sideways and fantasizing about being born as Ken Block in my next life time, finding real love for anything conventional with four doors is pretty much a minor miracle.
  10. Wow, C30 sales are off.... Another neat car, but I like the MINI Cooper S we bought much better than the C30.
  11. I thought the Evolution was being discontinued.... Several friends have bought new Evo's and really like them...
  12. Different strokes indeed...I would love a Cayman, it's perhaps one of my fav. cars on the planet. And your right on the interior thing, the Verano has a MUCH nicer interior than the Cayman. Not even close, dude, the GM car blows the German car out of the water IMHO. Drive one, you'll love it more. Almost, almost, almost bought a nice Boxster instead of the MINI Cooper S we just bought.... If Caymans come down more in price, I could see owning one in a few years.
  13. Optima is picking up steam, its a great car...
  14. Verano seems to be a nicer car than ILX
  15. If you can make it to Columbus I can offer you the services of a ten year old Miata for as long as you need it. I also have a Chevy Astro Cargo van that runs well and needs a little brake work that you can keep for as long as you need. If you need a greyhound ticket to get here I can provide that. Let me know. I do have wheels for 'blu! ...and if you want to live temporarily in Ohio I know a lot of people in the bodyshop biz and the car biz, I could probably hook you up with a day gig if you need that...
  16. ...and this might beat out the Verano in my car search for the next car... Love it also!
  17. Love the Custom Cruiser myself, and actually really like wagons.
  18. I often use a fan the same way myself, and I love the fresh air...
  19. Only Female racer to win a Trans Am race in series 45 year history wins yet again... Congrats to Amy and GM! ...and Erica Enders became the first woman to win ever in pro stock... Congrats to the ladies for stepping up to the plate!
  20. If you happen to be visiting Saudi Arabia, don't drift your rental car, you could lose your head. A popular amateur sport in the kingdom, drivers push their cars into skids at high speeds through traffic while spectators gather on the side of the road to watch and cheer, sometimes with disastrous results. Scores and scores of videos of the practice, called “Hadwalah”, are available on Youtube. In the video below, a Honda Accord is seen speeding down a highway with guns blazing out of the windows. The driver later turns around and drifts next to a school bus full of children. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGt0RnZcO88 Saudi police have been cracking down on the practice and are now charging offenders with negligent homicide. One man, who calls himself “Mutannish”, Arabic for “he who ignores”, has been sentenced to beheading after killing two people while drifting his car. Source: Reuters View full article

  22. ILX has about the dumbest ad slogan of any car though... "The kind of car your dad would have driven if he hadn't had you" Is the new ad slogan...I mean...come on guys....
  23. Agreed, and I think good things are coming in the future from them! New Dart looks fantastic...should be a hit for them
