  1. Love the Custom Cruiser myself, and actually really like wagons.
  2. I often use a fan the same way myself, and I love the fresh air...
  3. I'd take one, if I could afford it.
  4. Only Female racer to win a Trans Am race in series 45 year history wins yet again... Congrats to Amy and GM! ...and Erica Enders became the first woman to win ever in pro stock... Congrats to the ladies for stepping up to the plate!
  5. If you happen to be visiting Saudi Arabia, don't drift your rental car, you could lose your head. A popular amateur sport in the kingdom, drivers push their cars into skids at high speeds through traffic while spectators gather on the side of the road to watch and cheer, sometimes with disastrous results. Scores and scores of videos of the practice, called “Hadwalah”, are available on Youtube. In the video below, a Honda Accord is seen speeding down a highway with guns blazing out of the windows. The driver later turns around and drifts next to a school bus full of children. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGt0RnZcO88 Saudi police have been cracking down on the practice and are now charging offenders with negligent homicide. One man, who calls himself “Mutannish”, Arabic for “he who ignores”, has been sentenced to beheading after killing two people while drifting his car. Source: Reuters View full article

  7. ILX has about the dumbest ad slogan of any car though... "The kind of car your dad would have driven if he hadn't had you" Is the new ad slogan...I mean...come on guys....
  8. Agreed, and I think good things are coming in the future from them! New Dart looks fantastic...should be a hit for them
  9. Since I know OCNBLU will open this thread... Makes Toyota repair simple also... I find it ironic that most of the cars in Formula d, that the Japanese fanbois worship...pretty much run LSx power...
  10. http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/03/sport/motorsport/de-villota-marussia-f1-crash/index.html?hpt=hp_c2
  11. Agree with the consolidation thing, and glad to see Audi doing well, I like their products.
  12. Fusion is good product, glad its selling...
  13. Glad to see the Verano doing well....
  14. Yes, Gm keep up the drive! Saw a red/maroon volt get pulled over bny the Ohio State Highway patrol today... Glad to see the Volt doing well!
  15. Overall, I kind of agree, but just find the Passat, Regal, et al to be much better cars in terms of the small details. for some reason the Maxima has never been very appealing to me, and yes, I know that's subjective, and yes, I know its a fine car.
  16. Let's just shoot all the bloody lawyers as they seem to be the worst evil around for making everything a gov regulation. The Lawyer attitude seems to be, it is everyone's else problem, you were just a poor victim. Now give me your life savings and your daughter and you can go back to being a Lemming. Sad State of affairs! This is a huge part of the problem, and it just feeds the ADD mindset of Americans, both personal and corporate... Admit nothing, Deny everything, and Demand absolute proof of something before you take responsibility... THAT is killing our country, folks!
  17. They were all rust magnets in '78. Actually I think 78 or 79 GM dramatically improved their rust proofing.... Very capable vehicle, one of my best high school friends had one of those, ti was a hoot to hoon around in....
  18. A very good response, and I really agree with you here. The photo galler is nice, but IMHO this is one of the weakest products in terms of new cars available in the US currently. Would you actually buy this over a Regal, a 300, an Accord, or such... I know I wouldn't. Nice, well worded and well written review, and thanks for the great photographs.
  19. Thanks turbojett, loving the Corvette and shelby pic...and all of the rest. Let's keep it going guys!
  20. I am sure that I will be in the minority, but I am going to say Ramcharger.
  21. &Yes I can awesome truck, love the era!
  22. In a world where my Cooper S feels under powered, although quick on an autocross course, a 2.4 W a manual that goes would be cool!
  23. Sorry to see her go...
