  1. Rider safety classes are given at low cost at our local Harley Davidson dealership (I think the oldest Harley dealership in the USA). Also IIRC by the State of OHIO... Tray a safety class and see what you think. http://www.adfarrow.com/ridersedge_intro.asp http://www.adfarrow.com/ridersedge_intro.asp
  2. I liked the blast when it was in production, althbough I've never ridden one. thanks for your thoughtful review. Unlike some people here, I've ridden bikes. I hate to mention any H product as good, but the Honda Shadow is an awesome bike, one I'd get if I didn't get a Harley Sportster 1200. Little larger bike would make a much better touring machine, it sounds like. Although from the sound of your review the blast is very nimble around town, I can really respect that.
  3. You fix autobody stuff, you can fix a blu set of balls, what's your problem?
  4. I really like the later cars also, though... And turbojett...I might have to ban you from this thread for my own self good... (note the sarcasm please...) I am seriously going to loose sleep tonight over that last red Javelin you posted.... That thing is effin SWEET...OMFG! (And no sarcasm about the loosing sleep part....that thing is BEAUTIFUL!)
  5. Balthazar, you and I could agree on the AMX 2 design...simply fabulous! One more vintage Javelin pic and then I will quit...but my automotive lust seems to know no bounds. THANKS for the pics Balthazar...

Sigh...now that I'm looking at photographs of old race cars... Hornet brings back memories because my wife's family had one when we started dating...she was 18, I was 19....that's a while back... Obviously there's was not red white and blue... Guy I knew bought one of these brand new back in the day, sadly he died of cancer about ten years ago or so...

  10. The Demon may come yet...and with what Chryco is doing, I'd put one in my garage in a heartbeat. THAT would be an awesome small car....
  11. With Mazda.. . http://blog.caranddriver.com/alfa%E2%80%99s-roadster-detailed-the-2015-alfa-romeo-duetto/ Alfa Romeo and Mazda appear to be growing quite cozy. A contingent of Mazda brass was spotted recently at Fiat’s production facilities in Turin, Italy. This is due, in part, to the fact that Mazda is the only major Japanese manufacturer without a European production facility and Fiat just happens to have some production space that’s not being used. Oh, and did we mention that Alfa is developing a roadster, which we believe will be called Duetto, based on the next-gen Miata (follow the link for a rendering of the Mazda)? That could have something to do with the meeting, too. Our sources tell us that the next Duetto will be powered by the 1750-cc TBi direct-injected turbo four-cylinder; this engine can produce up to 250 hp. It is long of connecting rod, but very short of stroke—thus, very Alfa. Delivering power to the rear wheels will be a six-speed manual or an available seven-speed dual-clutch automatic with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. More info in Link...
  12. Crashes car into mall, and then steals clothes from mall to get dressed.... DALLAS - A man wearing no clothes crashed a stolen vehicle into the Southwest Center Mall and then proceeded to get out of the vehicle and dress himself in clothes from a Champs Sports store Friday morning, Dallas police said. The incident began with a woman being approached by a man wrapped in a blanket. The woman told police he came right up to her and stole her vehicle. It is unclear at this time if he used force or was armed at the time. The man then drove the vehicle through the entrance of the Southwest Center Mall, slamming kiosks and leaving behind major damage until coming to a halt at the doorway of the Champs Sports store. Witnesses said the man then got out of the vehicle and started dressing himself in clothes from the store. There have been no reports of injuries. The man was taken into custody.

  17. I like how it has some of the same design language as the Corvair we both love so much.... No cartpics thread is complete without Mustang Fatback pics.... I can pretty much enjoy any vintage car being respectfully beaten upon Water cooled 911 almost ranks with Muira and Jag E type as being one of the best looking cars ever, methinks. Oops, I meant to say air cooled, although I love the Water Cooled 9111s also...another A C pic This car just does it for me on so many levels its not even funny. I love about anything open wheeled and roadster ish, but then again you guys already know that...
