  1. The best things about the LSX is the exhaust note. With the right aftermaket setup that thing just makes my spine tingle and the hairs on my arms stand up on end. Chris
  2. Exactly. Somehow the current M3 just doesn't quite get it. Chris
  3. Glad to hear you got a car, Mustang84. The 4th gen cars are starting to grow on me a little bit...actually. Having driven an RX-8...and waiting on power...lack of tourque...it's sort of like knowing the school dance is three more hours and it's going to be at least three and a half hours before she is going to want to get it on. That LS1 wants it NOW! Chris
  4. Classic car sales are WAYYYY down.... Now would be a good time to buy, if anyone in our nation still had a job... Chris
  5. We're about to get it and it's coming from the hand called 'reality' Chris
  6. Yes, it would... Chris
  7. It would beat the hell out of fixing other peoples Camry's for a living, now wouldn't it? Chris
  8. I think your like me gm4life...having a few practical family cars when your in the process of raising kids. Wife and I talked about both a MINI Cooper and a Camaro as a future car today...we'll have more cool cars in the future. Chris
  9. Which brings us back to about eleventy billion other discussions we've had here...as a nation we've seemingly given up on ourselves. Chris
  10. Personally, I think you've got the big diesel truck, the blazer, the wagon, and the Camino which you will someday sell. Think maybe you might find one car you really want to keep and start putting your energies there? Chris
  11. The 1 series is hot IMHO, even though a lot of my friends don't like it. Current M3 is a little large and a little too much like a grand touring car than a sports car. E-30M3 was a much better "drivers car", as was the E36M3. But as for me' I'll take a clown shoe coupe, please. Coolest little BMW made, IMHO. Chris
  12. Given how good the underhood looked on Camino's wagon, I think just the opposite...we can all go work as apprentices under Camino and learn the art of resto. Then we can restore our own cars, and Camino can play with Zora and Arkus. Chris
  13. Glad to hear the yellow hardtop was found... Also...too bad they can't build a very close replica of the original Corvette based Nomad on a larger scale, and at lower cost, like Factory Five does with it's Cobra.
  14. The idiot students at Ohio State do the same thing when Ohio State beats Michigan... Chris
  15. Post some pics if you will. I'm trying to sell my son Joel on the idea of a Camaro or Firebird project car instead of a 3rd gen RX7. I think the Bird or 'maro would be about eleventy billion times cheaper and more reliable and more fun. Chris
  16. They crushed the 50's section at the one yard I go to once in awhile, sadly. Probably 750 cars gone out of 1000 that were once there. I've got pics of a 58 Pontiac for you though, If I can figure out how to post them. Chris
  17. Thanks again for posting these 'blu. That 68 'bird is just the cat's ass...and the 65-66 GTO pics are great, my fav. GTO bodystyle. And I think I spy a Carosel Red GTO ragtop, if my monitor is showing the color right. That GTO ragtop...WOW. Chris
  18. With a tailwind and drafting a semi we shall presume? Chris
  19. (also because I have 5 kids and I know what woman want when they are pregnant. and it's not a Viper.) Chris
  20. Clitoris (my small sword explained, I'm into small cars because even a viper won't compensate. Just "sort of" kidding but...) Chris
  21. Which is why a car like gm4life's Impala is a good purchase for the times. Keeping a low profile can be good. Chris
  22. As a fan of yellow cars I'd like to respectfully disagree with ZL-1. Listen to your wife, GM4life! Actually it looks better in the Orange colr they have. Chris
  23. Actually I'd love a wagon of that era for a family weekend car. Saw a 60 Chevy wagon for sale awhile back... Chris
