It's 1995, and you run GM
That SC Riviera from that era is just the cat's ass as far as a car goes. Again, a very under rated GM car. They got that one right for its market and era. Chris

Laugh if you will Pontiac-niche, focussed cars... Olds-spend lots of $ and make it a flagship. Work on legacy costs. As someone else said, keep RWD fullsize around. Chris

I could see 66 GTO, the tail end view on that car is awesome, IMHO. Chris

Is anyone else worried...
I agree with 68. The $h!storm has been coming for 30 or 40 years, we've just had our heads in the sand. I am not saying that the sky is falling... But the $h! storm is going to get worse. We've created this situation as Americans. But GM as a whole has got to survive, and I think that is far from certain right now. I'm optomistic, but there is still a chance the whole ship could sink. Cursed by my curse.
Ouch! Sorry to see that happen to such a nice looking truck. Chris

Camaro seems to have protected the cabin rather well in an accident. Chris

Sweet Thang!
Camino, you KNOW how I feel about the SD cars. Bidding right now is at a very reasonable 30K. Wish I could afford this right now. Chris

Anyone care?
I want the new Camaro also. Good to see you, keep up with the girls. My youngest, Christina, is 8 and my middle daughter just turned 13. It goes by real damned quick. My oldest will turn 19 July 3. In the end family is all we have. Chris

Who wants to save this one?
If I'm going to save a 71 Buick it is soing to be a Skylark convertible. Chris

Clunker Laws
I just wonder if this is the next step in the loss of some of our automotive freedoms. A lot of things start out "voluntary" +I wonder if they will include Tacomas in the definition of crushworth clunker? Chris

Clunker Laws
Yes, but cars like your Camino and wagon will be the very cars under 'target" Chris

Clunker Laws
I think it will be less serious classics than the stuff that the young and the working class will want to build. There are a whole lot of cars that just need to get gone though... Chris

Fiat, Funny
Fiat Humor How do you get spare parts for a Fiat? Just follow another one around. What's the difference between a Fiat and a Jehovah's Witness? You can close the door on a Jehovah's Witness. When should you do the first oil change on a Fiat? When it gets to 50,000 miles or -- in other words -- never. Have you seen the latest Fiat anti-theft device? They enlarged the "Fiat" logo. What occupies the last six pages of the Fiat owner's manual? The bus and train timetables so you can find your way home. How can you get a Fiat to do 60 miles an hour? Push it over a cliff./ A friend went to a dealer the other day and said, "I'd like a gas cap for my Fiat." The dealer replied, "Okay. Sounds like a fair trade." How do you make a Fiat go faster? Tell the tow truck driver to speed up. What do you call a Fiat on a hilltop? A miracle. What do you call Two Fiats on a hilltop? Science fiction. What do you call Three Fiats on a hilltop? A funny place to build a Fiat factory. Chris

63 is cool but I prefer the 64-65-66 Corvettes. They just had a cleaner look IMHO. Why I don't know, as I love the 58 and it was a lot more chromed up than the 56-57 or even the later 62. Chris

Clunker Laws
Does this whole bipartisan push for clunker laws bother anyone else here? I am by no means a conservative, but this just trikes me as a huge waste of government money when we have sooo many other good current uses for the money. Plus, think of all the cars that will be crushed... Plenty of B body big cars. Think of the Caprices that could be fixed up, or the third gen Camaros, or the post 72 El-Camino's, or the decent shape GM trucks that could find a life hauling around a farmer or a mason or something. Don't like this one bit. Thoughts? Chris

That has to be one of the most over looked GM cars ever, Camino. I remember one running around town like that only tan when i was a kid. Chris

It's time for an ugly fight boys...
That it would... On the other hand, That would be the car we need driving around the parking lot doing smokey burnouts... I'm sure the Sienna/Prius/Camry/Accord/Pilot drivers wouldn't know what to think. Chris

Not to sound like sixty eight, but I could see that, as the 49 Buick and the 49 Caddy both look awesome as two door true hardtops. To me, this is the very begining of the really bright era of GM cars that started dieing off about '72. But if we were going to go with a 49 I almost might be tempted to submit the Caddy. Chris
