  1. http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?threadid=328953 The 5 is IMHO the best thing they have going other than the Miata. Why do they even sell B series trucks anymore? Chris
  2. Should be good for another 100-150K when your done with it... Chris
  3. We need a decent national rail service. Chris
  4. The 'bu indeed does that. I had sworn off GM products after a lifetime of driving them...and Cars like the 'bu give me a lot of hope in GM. Personally, as an off topic aside, the 'bu interior just "does it" for me as a midsized car. All of the 'bu owners I've talked to have been VERY happy with their cars. Chris
  5. G8 to Impala SS makes infinite sense. Now if the Solstice targa could just live on as a Chev. product, we'd be all set. Chris
  6. This is excellent news, my friend. I love white cars and this thing should just look killer in white. Chris
  7. Given the choice I'd say Solstice Targa...But I could live with a Fiero. Did you drive one of the 88's Camino? I think the shifter was one of the things that was changed over time, IIRC. Chris
  8. Really after even about 68 or 70 the big cars started to suffer IMHO. Although I wouldn't mind a fullsize Buick, Pontiac or Cadillac ragtop from 75-76. I've always had a soft spot for the end of the line fullsize GM ragtops, personally. Probably never get around to getting one, but.... Chris
  9. He drives (drove) a hybrid ford SUV. You think he's gonna care about boring cars? Chris
  10. ...and no one says you have to. For me it wouldn't work because there is no head room in the back, and my sons friend Nick is 6'6" and my friend Timmy is 6'7" and neither would fit back there. Hell I'm 5'11 and don't really fit in the back. I don't understand why midsized cars like the Charger or Maxima have such crappy back seats. But the Charger is still growing on me. I like them in the Chryco heritage colors like Sublime, Top Bannana and Plum Crazy. Back to the B4C, is there a registry of these cars somehwere, or a list of stats? I do know manual tranny B4C's are excessively rare. Chris
  11. Yes it is, although I like the mid 70's Grand Prix models. Chris
  12. Real world 13's...? Have you put in that 40 HP Chip into the HHR SS? I've always kind of wanted a Fiero, actually. Chris
  13. ...as a design...the Charger is growing on me... Chris
  14. Another pic... http://www.flyinmiata.com/projects/current..._flip.php?x=869 Chris
  15. Off topic, but an Ls motor will fit in a Miata...nicely... http://www.flyinmiata.com/projects/current..._flip.php?x=872 Makes me think hard...Ls power in a car 1000 lbs lighter than a Firebird... Chris.
  16. ...a pic of it in your garage between the Camino and the Wagon would be awesome.... Chris
  17. Cool! Either I never knew or had forgotten you owned a modern Goat. Chris
  18. I've actually seen two seperate versions of the Pontiac Aerocoupe running around Columbus here. One is silver and I honestly forget what color the other one is. Chris
  19. ...oh and other than the Firehawk, what LS1 cars have you owned, Camino? Chris
  20. I actually never understood just how good an LS powered car sounded until I drove alongside of a few in traffic with the top down in my car. That motor just sounds sooooo gooood. Better even IMHO than a Hemi running WFO out at trails during the Mopar nats...and actually given the performance potential, probably FASTER than the Hemi's also. Chris
  21. Shhh...it's a rare Chrysler prototype he has...with factory installed "flow through" ventilation. Actually, There are a couple of very intact Shadows with no rust down at the local pick-en pull. If you wanted another project after the Intrepid, I may have a body donor for you. Chris
  22. The Pontiac GP version is also very uncommon, yes? Chris
  23. The 69 For sure...not this eme. day weekend, but sometime when you are in Ohio we should hook up for lunch or something. Chris
