  1. A good friend of mine has a father who bought a 340 Dart new in '68 with a 340 and a 4 speed. He ran down his share of Mach 1 mustangs with 428's, SS396 Camaro's and 442 Cutty's in that car. Saw a dark green 68 GTS coupe for sale on a car lot in Washington Ct house, Ohio awhile back. I have a soft spot for these cars. The 4 speed just makes it that much more my type of car. Chris
  2. Nice looking truck, good price, wonder about the miles. Nice that it hasn't been modded or abused. 1994 would be the first year for R134a right? So it wouldn't need R12 to charge the system....hmmmm.... (although I fix refrigeration and can buy R12) Wish had a space in the garage for it...really, as 'blu said...a nice looking truck. Chris
  3. Clams Chris
  4. Camino, I just hate you...not really...but I'm fighting a serious urge to raid my 401K of 25K and driving to Philly to buy that Monte. Everyone here knows I have a fetish for green cars...and being that clean and an SS 454...OMG. We used to have a tan on black SS454 that ran around my old hometown of Muncie, IN. When I was a teenager. Nice, mellow aftermarket exhaust...that car just sounded right. Chris
  5. The car is just absolutely the cat's ass in the Black Cherry. I like what your thinking, Von. Chris
  6. I almost pulled gthe trigger to buy one from Whiteside Dodge a few years ago. The truck was red, 4wd...NICE product. Would have pulled a formula Ford on a trailer quite nicely, I think. But that was before the economy went dead. Chris
  7. Glad we've got more cool cars in the Cheers and Gears Family. It's be even better once GM4life and Camino get their rides home. ...and Mustang 84 is looking like he'll get a better car also. Maybe we can hire the Mafia to steal Satty's Prius and torch it...then we'll be all set. Chris
  8. ...and in answer to Food I'm going to say Lobster.
  9. A friend of mine in college got circumcised when he was ninteen. Not fun. One of my sons is circumcised and the other is not. Painful to watch them do that to a newborn...a penis is a horrible thing to mangle. Chris
  10. the 48 Chev and the 51 Ford are sweet also. I love old pikc-em-ups... Love the Patina on that Ford. I'd just get the flathead going and drive that puppy. Chris
  11. I am right there with you...although I would keep the 350. Perfect car for a warm summer evening. God, I miss my Chevelle. Chris
  12. Love the really clean underhood vibe...NICE! Chris
  13. Very nice upgrade. I like the front end and interior on those cars. Chris
  14. To me, I'd delete the stripes and change the wheels. The wheels on that say Alabama trailer park, and not in a good way. That being said, nice ride. I saw a red 69 Camino on a trailer this ayem on my way to work that was just flawless. Chris
  15. I want the Cutty. Honda needed to give the styling studio a little more Coffee when the designed the Prelude. Prelude isn't a bad car, but the Cutty...hmmm. Chris
  16. ...and I like the Idea of a Charger SE for you, DF. Perfect car for you and Jessi. Chris
  17. I've owned a couple of small S-10's...they are the cats ass... Chris
  18. When you get it sorted out, I'll drop over to PA and buy you lunch and we can take her for a spin. Just tell me you have a good Deli, Pizzaria, or Italian and we are all set. Chris
  19. Yes it is...SD Formula 455. Rarer than the TA, last of the true Firebird/Pontiac pure musclecars of the era. Chris
  20. C'mon Gm4life...only 8 TA ragtops were built in 69, and last I knew only four survived... (I am a ragtop lover). However, the C pillar on the first gen f bodies, combined with that roofline... For me it would have to perhaps be a coupe...don't know. But I do love the first gen Firebird and Camaro. Chris
  21. I'm thinking of adding a Cruze or a Focus (next one, Euro one) for a daily and then adding a MINI Cooper S. Not really sure... Chris
  22. Congrats on your daughter and Notre Dame...the school is a good school...and it is almost 70% male...I'm sure your daughter will enjoy "both" of these facts. Chris
  23. Actually, yes...this may be a very good opportunity to buy a special car. ...and no, I'm not buying a Prius. Yuck. Chris
  24. Ya'll can shoot me for this...but the 60's GM car I really want is a 67-68 Firebird. All the class of a first gen camaro with all of the heritage and style of a Pontiac. I just LOVE those cars... Chris
  25. I think a nice driver would be your best bet... As the old saying goes...keep it simple, stupid. Chris
