  1. Love the really clean underhood vibe...NICE! Chris
  2. Very nice upgrade. I like the front end and interior on those cars. Chris
  3. To me, I'd delete the stripes and change the wheels. The wheels on that say Alabama trailer park, and not in a good way. That being said, nice ride. I saw a red 69 Camino on a trailer this ayem on my way to work that was just flawless. Chris
  4. I want the Cutty. Honda needed to give the styling studio a little more Coffee when the designed the Prelude. Prelude isn't a bad car, but the Cutty...hmmm. Chris
  5. ...and I like the Idea of a Charger SE for you, DF. Perfect car for you and Jessi. Chris
  6. I've owned a couple of small S-10's...they are the cats ass... Chris
  7. When you get it sorted out, I'll drop over to PA and buy you lunch and we can take her for a spin. Just tell me you have a good Deli, Pizzaria, or Italian and we are all set. Chris
  8. Yes it is...SD Formula 455. Rarer than the TA, last of the true Firebird/Pontiac pure musclecars of the era. Chris
  9. C'mon Gm4life...only 8 TA ragtops were built in 69, and last I knew only four survived... (I am a ragtop lover). However, the C pillar on the first gen f bodies, combined with that roofline... For me it would have to perhaps be a coupe...don't know. But I do love the first gen Firebird and Camaro. Chris
  10. I'm thinking of adding a Cruze or a Focus (next one, Euro one) for a daily and then adding a MINI Cooper S. Not really sure... Chris
  11. Congrats on your daughter and Notre Dame...the school is a good school...and it is almost 70% male...I'm sure your daughter will enjoy "both" of these facts. Chris
  12. Actually, yes...this may be a very good opportunity to buy a special car. ...and no, I'm not buying a Prius. Yuck. Chris
  13. Ya'll can shoot me for this...but the 60's GM car I really want is a 67-68 Firebird. All the class of a first gen camaro with all of the heritage and style of a Pontiac. I just LOVE those cars... Chris
  14. I think a nice driver would be your best bet... As the old saying goes...keep it simple, stupid. Chris
  15. ...and the economy is deep sixed. That is having an impact on everyone. Chris
  16. Paris Hilton
  17. Saw two very well preserved Fiero's on the road... Chris
  18. They don't totally suck, and we have one Toyota product in the family. However, Toyota just doesn't IMHO have that solid, well built feeling of Honda, VW, Mazda, Nissan, and some of the better Ford and GM products. Everyone here enjoys bashing Toyota. Get over it. That being said, I could almost see a second gen MR2 in my garage at some point. Or a Toyota powerplant in a Lotus Elise.... But welcome to the boards, 84. I for one look forward to hearing more from you. Chris
  19. Lots of houses in Ohio have lots of Charactor. The office of the company I work for is in a historical district, and many of the buildings are high victorian and well preserved. However, I almost would enjoy living somewhere really modern like LA or Seattle for awhile. Chris
  20. I would second the Carlisle thing. Been too busy previous years, but now that my work load is less... I would love to get together with some C and G people. Chris
  21. This is one area I have to disagree with 'Camino. The Charger (current gen) is growing on me. That said, If I spell relief with a V8, it's going to come in a Camaro or Challenger. Chris
  22. One more reason to run the religious right out of American politcs. heared an interesting interview with Barry Goldwater where he pretty much blasted the current Republican party for kissing the hind end of the religious right and the catholic church. He said that government should not try to legislate sexual morality. I found myself agreeing with him. Chris
  23. ...it sure beats taking it somewhere else and buying a Toyota... Chris
