They don't totally suck, and we have one Toyota product in the family. However, Toyota just doesn't IMHO have that solid, well built feeling of Honda, VW, Mazda, Nissan, and some of the better Ford and GM products. Everyone here enjoys bashing Toyota. Get over it. That being said, I could almost see a second gen MR2 in my garage at some point. Or a Toyota powerplant in a Lotus Elise.... But welcome to the boards, 84. Lots of houses in Ohio have lots of Charactor. The office of the company I work for is in a historical district, and many of the buildings are high victorian and well preserved. However, I almost would enjoy living somewhere really modern like LA or Seattle for awhile. Chris

One more reason to run the religious right out of American politcs. heared an interesting interview with Barry Goldwater where he pretty much blasted the current Republican party for kissing the hind end of the religious right and the catholic church. He said that government should not try to legislate sexual morality. I found myself agreeing with him. Chris

...with gas prices going up this is a smart move. When gas hits $4.59 a gallon for reg. unleaded, people will be fire sale other cars and buying these. I only have one comment...and it's in my signature. There are better and safer and more environmentally friendly ways of getting fuel economy in a vehicle. ...but personally I prefer a national rail service....and about a $1.50 or $2.00 tax on gas. The midsize GM cars from 68 to 72 are a high water mark for GM IMHO, one they haven't hit since. Again, it goes back to having different flavors of the same thing that were actually good. Two thoughts...I remember looking at a wierd bronze colored 402 powered project that was a "real" heavy Chevy. In retrospect, had I realized how rare it was, I may well have bought it and restored it. Also...another one that "got away" was the GTO that I looked at before I bought my 55 chevy. 65 Goat, 4V and no tripower, blue on blue, post with dog dish hubcaps. Fits the all balls and half the show thing 100%, and I know EXACTLY what your talking about. Find me a clean 68 GTO in Verdero Green and you can have my firstborn son. But it probably would be cheaper to feed the goat at 4 bucks a gallon... Chris
