  1. The purple color is hot...I've seen a few of the Purple turned into SCCA racecars, and I almost cringe at the thought of someone wrecking a purple one on track. If I find one used at a good price in Purple, I'm selling my house! Chris

We are getting off topic, though. Maybe we should post some nice Buick pics so Pauli can cheer up.... Actually, I think you gay guys need to try the midwest. Out here most of the gay men I know have long term partners. It would be interesting to know if their is a difference in gay culture between the midwest and the coasts. Actually, a couple of the guys who live in a building we are finishing are gay and are car nuts. I'm not making this up...he goes by B.J. and his boyfriend goes to the name of V.J. He drives a Mitsu Eclipse and his boyfriend drives an RX-8 Mazda. I'm not much of a judge of males, but they both seem to ahve that dark cleanshaven muscular look that the 345,564,667.329 gay men who post here seem to like. Chris
  3. GM should have the whole Astra linup here in the states...that would be cool...some cool variants of that. Chris
  4. Another car I could just kill myself for not buying. A REAL 409, 1 OWNER! Car that was available locally a few years ago, about 20,000 original miles, still had all of the original paint, etc. They wanted 14 grand for it...it was a base car, dig dish hubcaps, 2 door post Biscayne. Blue on Blue. Should have bought it...would love to know what happened to it. But it would be cooler as a Pontiac. Chris

I find strip clubs a complete turnoff. Actually, I like artistic nude photography though...and gay guys have it better. Seems like more artistic effort is put into photographing the male body. I think most guys get a camera and a naked girl and think its art. Gay men have a much better idea of what constitutes art and the human body. Chris
  7. This thread is too funny. Glad we all can laugh at religion and politics... Chris
  8. If they didn't it would be a nice "phantom" Chris
  9. It's fair for them to show viability, they are asking for 25 billion or so...chump change compared to the finance companies, but still 25 billion is 25 billion. On a personal note I really don't envy any of our leaders. Chris
  10. I was scared with the same thing with Reagan. Again, not to make this political-there are a lot of very good elected republicans-but I wonder if he ever really recovered from the Hinkley shooting... Chris
  11. Given the state of our nation, all 435 memebers of the house should be under a state of duress-things are going to get very ugly in 2009. Chris
  12. I just don't see the Nissan attraction, lots of other people here do. Nissan IMHO just needs to go away. I feel about it what a lot of other people feel about Toyota. CTS is a MUCH better car, FWIW. Chris
  13. You sure you just haven't been 15 12 more times? Chris
  14. The Hyundai is still a Hyundai, there is no unique personality to the car. The G8 has a very unique personality. If you want a mee too mobile with soft plastics, the Hyundai should be a set of wheels for you... Chris
  15. I'm scared that in 2012 things will still be bad and we will do something reactionary and stupid which will put us further in the hole. What was that pessimist and a cynic thing again...kinda rymes with realist. The average age of a car in the USA is almost ten years now, I think that a lot of people will keep cars that are serving them well for quite awhile. I'm also really scared that the more interesting stuff (Sosltice, G8, Mustang, et al) will get cancelled and that what will be available when the economy gets better will be a bunch of Corolla wanna bees. It will be interesting to see what BMW does here in the states. Chris

I'm begining to think that if their is a god Sex is his/her idea of a joke, everyone chasing each other around here on eath to get in each others pants. Chris
  17. I like option #3 myself. Chris

  19. All the more reason to sell her a Silverado... Chris
  20. Like I said, 2009 is going to be rough. Oldsmoboi, you weren't kidding when you said a financial bloodletting was going to happen here in the states. I just wish that you had been wrong. Chris

Good luck to you too, OC. I remember being 17 and wondering if I'd ever find a girl to love...and then meeting a very nice girl when I was 19, then marrying her when I was 21 or 22. Can't imagine how hard it would be to be single and thirtysomething. Must really suck for both of you guys. Although I can't understand the sttraction to anything with a penis. To me the male package looks profoundly ugly. Showering in the boys locker room convinced me at a young age that either god was a lunatic or evolution must be reality. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Chris
  22. Actually around here a very nice concours restored mid 50's rolls wound up with a blown 454..similar project although IIRC the car was black. Guy that restored the Rolls was NOT happy... Chris
