  1. It's a shrinking market, and unless the market improves in the next year or two we are going to loose some players, both import and domestic. Chris
  2. Your not the only one. And here is the thing...once our domestic auto industry is gone, who is to say that the import brands will leave their plants here? Honda is allready pulling its motorcyclew plant from Ohio, and sending it back to Japan. What is keeping them from pulling Civic and Accord production if there is no domestic competion? Chris
  3. I could handle some sun right now. Today in crappy Ohio weather there was an old air cooled 911 running around on four Hoosier auto-x or road race type tires. Must have been a real handful. Chris
  4. Exactly. But no more oil is being made in the ground, so we need to work on alternates now. I like the Volt-I hope it does well. Be interesting to see, though... Chris
  5. More than being worried about climate change, I think we should be worried about the loss of wildlife habitat and rainforests. Interesting read, though. Chris
  6. This, gentlemen, is why I am in ass man. She looks great from behind. Chris
  7. Good thing nature and evolution gave you two kidney's, you might need one. Chris
  8. Oil won't remiain low for very long...enjoy it while you can! Chris
  9. Let's not forget Ohio and Honda now... Chris
  10. Dark Green with a black interior is one of the best color combo's for that car. Glad to hear the IPC is in good, original condition. When I had the 66 Fastback, I had a chance to trade it even up for a red 66 Mercury Cyclone GT390 IPC. VERY rare car. Chris
  11. Along with evey other industry we've lost. I am just too sad and angry to even think about this right now. Chris
  12. The guy who bought my 66 Fastback had a 66 GT convertible and was also hit head on by a drunk, totaling the convertible. He rebuilt it though, and has it to this day. 79 Indy Pace car was one of my favorite Fox bodies. Chris
  13. Sadly, a lot of people would pick Toyota, Kia and company over GM. Including the numbskulls we've elected. Chris
  14. The whole world economy may go boom soon...but glad to see others feel the pain. Maybe that will change some peoples mind on a bailout. Chris
  15. It's been awhile since I've been in a Nissan interior. Have they really improved that much? Chris
  16. ...actually...nicely done, Ford. Chris
  17. We haven't really ended slavery, we've just more or less outsourced it... Chris
  18. No kidding. Let's just hope Oldsmoboi is right and globalization is reversable. Chris
  19. She's doing the good lord's work. Chris
  20. Nice link, Satty. Chris
  21. Satty, when I was a kid the guy who lived down the street had one just like that...but his was red with a dark tan top. Nothing better on a sunny day than a Jeep...or a Miata... Chris
  22. Shame about that Mustang. Chris
  23. It is still an ungodly fast car though. Pardon mke for saying so, but I like it...much better than the Z car. Chris
  24. Not just yes but hell yes. They built some cool trucks back in the 1950's also. The cool thing is the old dies were saved and a lot of the bodies of these are available repro. Back when I was in the Classic Mustang Club one of our members had one of those Jeepster convertibles. That was a fun parade car. We used to do a lot of parades, and I lined up in the stang next to that thing several times. God, I wish I still had my old Mustang, and I wish I had an old Jeep. Chris
  25. Manual tranny cars are becoming out of fashion. And the Solstice has a nicer center stack layout. I'll stick with the idea of a Solstice, even though this Z is much improved. Chris
