  2. It was a beautiful day at the campground yesterday. HOT. I went up to pay my dues and spent the day. And yes, my balls did get sweaty, but that's summer, baybee. It's all good!

  4. That looks very good, Fly.
  5. Wow, that's an excellent picture of the Airflite. Very sexy looking.
  6. You should be able to sell the Panther pretty quickly for that price, 68. From what you've told us, it's got some rust and mechanical issues. I had a second cousin who had a white '64 Starfire with red vinyl interior. That thing was so big, breezy and confident. No wonder GM was so far above everyone else at that time. The '64 Olds is a solid, sweet car.

Looks like a tough little motha. I like it.

    ....

That basic style of headlight started out on the 300C, with the round element outboard of a rectangular one. The Pacifica always reminded me of a dirigible. It seems... inflated or something. It looks porky, imo. I am not a fan of the hood strakes. I hope they don't spread to the 300. Does the new Sebring have them? (going to check the other thread)
  9. Well, people like Bob Lutz and the hundreds of thousands of GM enthusiasts who remember when GM was so far out front they were untouchable have to turn this "speculation" into reality. It must happen if Pontiac is to be a relevant brand once again.
  10. The Viper's ass is very masculine, compact and muscular. I like it. The C5's big butt, while not the most attractive ever hung on a car, is functional. Isn't that the definition of a Kamm tail? I love the Cayman's greenhouse. I prefer the Cayman to the Boxter for that reason.
  11. I don't know the WA number, but I would go with Superior Blue, the recent GM color available on Impala/Monte Carlo/Colorado. I would not go with black because it shows any little imperfection in the bodywork. Black SS-style stripes up and over would look good with the blue though.
  12. I probably couldn't, especially after reading about the 44-year-old woman who slipped out of the tandem harness this weekend and fell to her death during her first jump. I'd be the guy clinging to the side of the door frame of the plane with my hands if they pushed me out. Jumping off a dune strapped to a parasail sounds fun though.
  13. I am going to recuse myself from any further comment because those who have said it are right... unless you feel it or see it firsthand, you just don't know. When I was 18 and just graduated high school, I went through a period of depression where I was so caught up in worry about my future I could barely function. I didn't see a future away from the safety of my school friends (who unwittingly kept me from having to deal directly with being gay). I was a good student, yet I couldn't afford to go to a good college. I ended up with an AA degree at one community college, and attending another for several semesters in classes I was interested in. At the height of this, I lost weight because I couldn't eat, I couldn't think straight, I couldn't focus on my farm chores, my gray hair proliferated, and I just didn't know which way to turn. I went to my primary care doctor and told him of my mental and emotional state. The first thing he asked me was... "Are you heterosexual or homosexual?" That perceptive question saved me. Yes, I thought about suicide before going to that doctor, but after that visit, things started to clear up for me. Those words lifted me up so I could see from a different perspective. All I'm saying is, I was in a bad place, but I won't speculate on the motives of seemingly happy people who end it with little or no warning. It's a sad thing to not know if you could have helped, I'm sure.
  14. !!! :AH-HA_wink: centerfold
  15. That's a nice area, Croc. I miss living there (I was on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, within easy daytrip distance of Baltimore, Annapolis, DC, and ocean beaches, sigh). *whew*... good, CB. Didn't want you to get all drugged up and violated. Have fun, sir.
  16. Well, I hope this pans out to the "T". I see no potential sacrifice in sales volume in doing this. They can still offer entry-level models, they'll just be RWD. The first Sunbird was RWD, remember? They will still need Solstice, and then 3 sizes of coupes, sedans, convertibles and one sportwagon, all RWD with optional AWD. Returning to real model names is also in order. This is what so many Pontiac enthusiasts have been hoping for for many years, and GM needs to get started on this project sooner rather than later. This is very encouraging news.

  19. Well, maybe if he weren't such a dirty little whore, people wouldn't miss him so soon? Staying in the camper sounds like fun. I should be tent camping this weekend, dammit.

    Hit a dog.

Yeah, that's a whole other subject. I'd be devastated if I hit any animal.
  21. Did you stop having your monthly too, Paulie? :AH-HA_wink: I am sitting here right now being bombarded by Latin music as my neighbors are having a huge house party. If history is an indicator, the redundant *dum de dum DUM* beats will continue late into the night. The other neighbors' party is still going as well (the one I attended).
  22. From what I can see, I like it. The high beltline they popularized with the 300 is being copied by other manufacturers. Look at the new Camry and Optima. The "Chrysler" lettering on the decklid seems redundant, because if I remember correctly, it's spelled out in the shield on the winged emblem also. I agree with the person that said the C-pillar has some ION in it, but I think here it is better executed. I'll have to see the black-out triangle on a light colored car to pass judgment, it may lose the ION echo in a lighter color. For me, I feel like this will be another Caliber. I hated it at first, but the more spy photos that come out, the more intrigued I become. The pictures look like they were taken in a foreign country. Look at the top picture, some of the other vehicles in the picture are not available here, and the "P" sign looks euro.
  23. God, that's horrible, bowtie. Suicide is cowardly and selfish, I feel. I hope you guys are able to rationalize the incident soon, something like this has to be hard to get out of your mind.
  24. A Swift 3 door with Sport package would be my little car of choice. It looks like a high-top sneaker, but it's masculine, and with the driving dynamics I've read about, it would be a blast to drive. I will be looking at an SX4 AWD though.
  25. I've read from several sources, including the Suzuki website, that the SX4 is based on the award-winning new Swift that has so endeared itself to the European automotive press.
