  1. Sigh... yeah. It doesn't look promising, weatherwise. I'm not worried about my own driving, it's all those other dummies out there I'm worried about.
  2. The 3.5L Charger SE is a stong value, to be sure. I too am perplexed. In the old sheme of things, the base 300 is like a Newport and the 300C is like a New Yorker. They need something over the 300C (that looks good, not hideous like the Imperial concept).
  3. The rear bumper looks like it's chrome, which gives me hope the front bumper is at least partially chrome as well.
  4. That pea-green radio display will be a nice blue at night. I love the blue VW dash lighting.
  5. ...All of which contribute to a low starting price. One reason they're popular. I'd like to see Chrysler offer a few more vibrant colors on the 300... like a stronger green than the washed-out Jadestone. A nice bright blue with an aftertint of green would be nice. A dark burgundy metallic, or even a non-metallic tan would contrast nicely with the chrome trim. Dark brown and taupe 2 tone leather interior would look great with a nice, non-metallic tan color on a 300C with chrome wheels.
  6. The current 1-ton trucks have relatively small wheels as well, so I ain't skeert. That's gotta be a GMC, and it's not a girly truck like the Yukon. This is gonna be hot!
  7. The Honda Ridgeline is nothing but a cardboard cutout of a truck. It ain't a pimple on a Silverado's butt.
  8. Oh yeah, I wasn't hoping for a mini-300. Something with as much American attitude would be nice though. I have a fear this car will be a bit too art-deco in style, like the Crossfire. That would tend to make it hard to do a midcycle refresh, imo. I like the fact that the 300 doesn't have generic anything. Wraparound, bloopy headlights have become a generic trait, imo.
  9. I like the contrast of white/black leather. With the added interior brightwork on the '06s, it will look sharp. Oh, and get the polished 5 spoke rims. That'd be a classy combination, imo.
  10. Usually, silvery dash trim doesn't look good for long. Oil from human touch turns it black, or it gets scratched easily. Also, look at all the "different" looking switches and buttons, like they went to a hardware store and bought surplus and stuck it all in that dashboard. I like the exterior, I gotta say. Of course, it's the top of the line model, so they're putting their best foot forward with the publicity photos. I'm sure it's uglier in lower trims, with black door handles, a gray grille surround, etc. Imagine that... ew. Also, are those aluminum wheels? They look like wheel covers, and they look a bit small. Overall, it looks a bit too weird to win over too many loyal truck buyers. Current Tundra buyers are pretenders, not real truck guys. This new truck doesn't break through, imo, at least in light duty form.
  11. Chrysler is the only American carmaker left with balls. Love it!
  12. Uh... the first interior picture is clearly washed out with too much camera flash. The second pic is more representative of normal lighting. The Volkswagen is built like a tank, and feels intuitive to drive. There is truth to that old ad slogan (I won't pretend to spell it, but you all remember that word, and maybe the loose translation given by VW.) All you have to do is roll the windows down and shut the doors and hatchlid on a VW. Even without the cushion of air that comes with closed windows, the doors close with a solid "thunk". The car goes over the road with a secure, solid feeling. They love to be driven hard, and are stable at top speed. No fuel cutoff in a VW. I'm interested in driving a 2.5L Golf. The power ratings closely match my '00 GTI 1.8t (which was conservately rated at 150 hp to avoid conflict with the redundant VR6 at that time.) I'm already used to the unique growl of a 5 cylinder. A green or blue 2 door like the silver car above would suit me fine.
  13. I am not a fan of oversized headlights. Can't really tell if these are gargantuan, but they do appear to wrap around the fenders. I love the 300, and hope that magic can be brought down in size here.
  14. Yeah, the Aerio now has a conventional dashboard. I think it's a spunky little car. It's got plenty of horsepower, comes in nice colors, and it's available with AWD (auto trans only with AWD, sadly.) That "ice blue" they've got this year is bangin'.

I enjoy bouncing any number of subjects off of fellow members down here in the lounge. I know some things I say may cause discomfort, or even disgust in some other members. I do try not to go too far, or get too graphic. I try to regulate myself. As I've said on many occasions, if I offend anyone with some of my crap, let me know. I find "in your face" is not always the best way to approach things. Here are some really HOT pictures: user posted image user posted image user posted image EDIT: Dammit, they won't work! I guess you all will just have to be imaginative. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. cooler
  17. Not bad. I like it. It's sporty enough in 3 door guise. I'd like to price a 2.5 5 speed 3 door.
  18. JC Whitney gone wild. That's really sad. But funny!
  19. Nice catch, carstar. This thing may shape up OK after all. I'm still suspicious of the ribbed hood though.
  20. It looks too "foreign" (which is fine for where it's sold, of course.) It wouldn't work here as a Malibu, imo. The headlights remind me too much of the last Saturn L-series.
  21. poop stain
  22. dusty
  23. How about... 6? :AH-HA_wink:
  24. cowboy
  25. True dat. Our local Hyundai dealership has an '05 Cobalt LT, an '05 Malibu LT, and an '05 Taurus parked on the front row.
