  1. Question: Is the hardship of Yugo plant workers being out of work after the bombing, especially if they have mouths to feed, something to be taken lightly? The workers were just doing their jobs, they didn't design the crappy little car they were building. Why isn't anyone attacking Fly's post as "callous", when, surely, hundreds of people were affected... compared to what appears to be two people in Sly's post? I swear, I do not understand all the people who pile on top of Sixty8 over harmless stuff. He is not a bad guy, y'all.
  2. Welcome back, MF! I mean, MTF! (?) I hope the road back has been relatively smooth.
  3. That's not a Pontiac, right Vipes? It has no cladding! Where's the cladding?
  4. Yo aaaantoine. Have a good one, sir.
  5. Kia driver to her insurance company: "I got rearended at a stop sign." Kia driver's insurance company: "How fast would you say you were going when you backed into this alleged Blazer? 40 mph?"
  6. At first I was afraid, I was petrified... :AH-HA_wink:
  7. I agree with XP. The feeling I get on a plane is akin to being on a rickety city bus. With really good ground clearance.
  8. Neither did the cars. But hey, those old boats are splendid highway travelers. Perfect for our big country.
  9. cmattson, one word: EFFING BRILLIANT!
  10. It's much more solid than a Cimoron, plus, it's not a rebedge of anything.
  11. ? So was I.

Shouldn't that be "La" instead of "Le"? :AH-HA_wink:
  13. Yupper Mr. Mutie Cutie Patootie... with a style that is unassuming, but all Chevrolet, it can be a chameleon, a clean slate... it can be anything its owner chooses. I choose to make it with healthy smallblock power and a corner carver suspension.

To coin a term, are you being FACETIOUS here, CeeDee BeePee? You gotta check the "Members Showcase" section for Viper's latest.
  15. Croc, I have a problem with your attitude, but I wouldn't wish loneliness on anyone. Don't foresee a future for yourself being alone. Humans are just not designed to be lonesome creatures. I know, the stress is at times unbearable.
  16. See now, that's why the '78-81 Malibu coupe is like the perfect car. Sized and priced right, something along those lines in a modern iteration would be a godsend.
  17. That new generation Signum (why do I keep thinking "smegma"?) should do great as a sort of Saturn flagship...
  18. Please allow me this obsession... I saw the movie again this afternoon (off work today), then I went and bought the short story in hardback form... and the soundtrack. I am listening to it now. I've never spent money to see a great movie twice... let alone FOUR times.
  19. I've only flown twice. Baltimore to Tampa, and Harrisburg to Bloomington, IL for State Farm school. Otherwise, the only travelling I've done is around the coffee pot, looking for the handle. Wait, that's not true. I drove my '92 Golf to WY and back in September of that year. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. February 11th it is. Sounds good to me.
  21. "Progress" isn't always good.

Viper, I kid you not. A young man with your drawing talent will be able to go anyplace he wants. Keep that in mind while you putter away your school hours.
  23. You mean cool ones?

    2008 Malibu

I haven't seen a Yaris sedan without the burden of 500 pounds of ground effects.
  25. Come on man. Stop! You are thought of highly here. I personally will need to go on a weekend day. Any Saturday or Sunday is fine with me.
