  1. Maybe it is because the Trax is a snore compared to the Renegade.
  2. Spring has been sprung from its chains, and it's running wild! All the cool cars are coming out of hibernation. Post your sightings here, folks!
  3. spectacles
  4. I am guessing the small aluminum V8 from Buick does not count then? Perhaps because it was a single shot deal and not a family of "smallblocks"? If that is the case, then I will say Chevrolet only, as I believe all BOP V8 engines were variations on the same basic architecture. And we know Cadillac only used big mamas. On the speedometer question, I am going to guess Chrysler 300, 1955. Wild guess. Maybe it was a Kaiser Darrin or something more obscure like dat.
  5. Excuse me check timestamps on the comments again regarding Chrysler engines in European brands.
  6. I find the driving position to be fine. I have one concern that could not be remedied with a 6-way adjuster: the width of the seat cushion is too narrow. I need to keep my legs spread because of my balls, I'm a man, and the way the seat is bolstered, my left thigh feels the pressure from the bolster. If the cushion were a little wider or bolstered differently, it would bring relief. I find myself adjusting my left leg while driving.
  7. Exceptionally classy signage.
  8. *crickets chirping*
  9. This tank: 420.5 miles, 18.544 gallons. 22.675798 MPG.
  10. If you want to see what's new at GM for 2016: http://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NASApp/domestic/brandsel.jsp?year=2016&regionID=1&lang=1
  11. Well I can see the root of your problem, right there.
  12. Ugh... the prototype in camo belies its 2005 Ford Five Hundred roots. Very close to sticking a fork in Lincoln if that holds true. This car needed no less than a RWD chassis to return the brand to relevance.
  13. Yeah, avatars aren't right and I see ghost text in a few spots.
  14. meh, nothing will ever compare to the authoritative mechanical music of a V8 engine. when is that version coming out? soon i hope, before cadillac loses any more credibility.
  15. On the way home from work this evening, a Valiant 4 door, in the usual 70's mustard color with off-white vinyl roof. Later model (mid-70's) front clip gelling perfectly with older (early 70's) body. Leveled, lowered slightly, on torque thrust wheels. Very clean and tasteful.
  16. New look took less study to get used to than Haze, which made me feel like I was in one for a few days.
  17. If I think about it, I can list ways that GM has hurt, compromised, and whored the very bedrock brand of the company in recent years. And it sickens me.
  18. stainless
  19. Well the first one is a VW prototype to replace the original Beetle. Didn't work out. Second one, I always think of Cugnot as the true inventor of the automobile. Number three for Chrysler, was it Jensen and Facel Vega?
  20. It's like an overpowering oval theme with tiny wheels and an incomplete Sweepspear situation. Lack of eyebrows over taillamps lends it a generic Asian look.
  21. Darn it, I wanted to like this.
  22. yes
