  1. Somebody's stirring up a Geo $h!storm...
  2. Now my mind is wandering to OE possibilities. I am imagining a 2012 Baja Bug FROM THE FACTORY for the street and light off-roading. VW has a history of crossing over their street cars for off-road use dating back forever. Sweet. Paint it flat olive green with grayish-tan leatherette, give it AWD, jack up the suspenders, mount some knobby tires on no-nonsense rims and add a roof tray and pushbar with lights. Unsquashable!
  3. I always thought the body styling on this car emphasized its height more than its length. A no-no for a luxury car, it should be emphasizing length first.
  4. Oh darn, I thought you were opening a small eatery in 5 years. But no, it's all about the horrid idear that CAFE is the answer to anything. Cause it ain't.
  5. Son of a Seabiscuit that is one heck of a hawt looking creature. That thing be hoppin' through some HIGH grass, yo!
  6. I'd love to be adopted into this tribe.
  7. um... ok... I do predict a full-width taillamp treatment, based on the lumps in the vinyl. Thanks, MM and CD.
  8. That salmon-coloured Lincoln Balthy posted is perversely cool.
  9. Balthy please stop looking at tiny Jeep rears. Horse person guy, yes, the Wrangler is very cool, I'll have to see if things click this weekend. If not, I have a brand new car to Cruze around in unassumingly... benignly... quietly.
  10. Thanks fer the link, Moltie. Winter Chill (light silver blue metallic) would look cool with this package. The Jeep website has no mention of the Arctic package in their Build&Price section, but Edmunds has it in theirs. It's a comprehensive package of style changes and features that seems worth it for the price, especially with Jeep's $3000 cash incentive on Liberty right now. It would be affordable to buy, and I believe it would be cheaper to insure than a Wrangler.
  11. Prolly rides as well as the 2012 Tacoma regular cab 4X4 I drove the erder day.
  12. Interesting, and very cool. I never want to use google to jog my memory or my detective skeels, that would take the fun out of these threads, imo. The narrow center grille didn't strike me, from that angle, to feature the trademark Packard shape. WMJ said this concept was inspired by an earlier one... that threw me off, because it clearly inspired the later Mercury Turnpike Cruiser with retractable Breezeway back window. The front end doesn't look like a Ford design, on second thought, but the glassy roof and Lincoln-like rear end at the angle of the photo are what made me think Ford. I've seen the Futura, but it's been a while.
  13. A True Blue, Winter Chill, or Canyon Brown Liberty Sport, with the simple addition of BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO LT235/70R16 tires, would also be sweet. But those Wranglers are the bee's knees, dude. I have an appointment to drive a 2012 Wrangler 6 speed and a 2012 Liberty Sport this Saturday @ 11 a.m. Then there's the Liberty's 2012 special Arctic Edition... sounds tough, although the brochure doesn't have a picture of it.
  14. I started this thread on a trademark double entendre with a twist of serious thought. Now I request that it be locked. Please.
  15. How about Shenene?
  16. lines
  17. Looking at it, it has to be a FoMoCo product. 1955 Lincoln Futura? I know that's wrong, but...
  18. I wonder if the re-do will be along the lines of the red LeBaron convertible seen elsewhere here?
  19. We'll be waitin' to hear from ya, Cort!
  20. The interior mods make it barely recognizable.
  21. That is sooo nice. GM killed so many car guys' spirits behind the scenes.
  22. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........
  23. Cool and there's another Pontiac in the driveway of the wounded house.
  24. Well, Camino decided to run with the big dogs on this one. Awesome.
