  1. This is a truck that will still be earning its keep 20, 30 years later. If it doesn't rust out like the early big-rig style Dodges are doing right now.
  2. OOOOO K... I am excited and I hope we see a production version of our new GM compact truck sooner rather than later. Who's with me?
  3. trailer
  4. Now that was a trick question. There were like 3 "Travelettes" built, compared to at least 500 Travelalls.
  5. Well of course I'm highly interested in seeing this come to fruition. Regular cab 4WD diesel manual mid-level trim Chevy with big tires is my style. In blue or green. There has to be a way the manufacturers can ween themselves off the deep, DEEP fullsize pickup discounts so the smaller trucks have room in the market at large... although I am not one of those who'd default to a larger truck. I will always prefer the smaller truck as it is much handier in day-to-day use. I hope we don't get the tadpole/car front end... but even if we do... I might swallow that pill and go for it anyway.
  6. International Travelall?
  7. Another batch of nice ones.
  8. See now... we do 98% insurance crash work. We never have such cool stuff around us at work.
  9. That coupe is nifty though. And the 2-door Countryman. But it is true... like parent BMW, they are chasing too many niches.
  10. Shoot, and I always thought he was a hottie. He's OFF my list.

  12. Good one.
  13. Now that looks wicked!
  14. green light
  15. Well, we've read that the turbo engine out of the Riggle will likely go into the Verano, with the manual transmission. I hope it's the high-turned one. An Eco we could do without.
  16. It would be amusing if it weren't so sad, soon we'll all be driving something that large, thanks to some temporary residents of Washington, DC.
  17. Learning to master RWD in any weather is something you accomplished, and your father accomplished, and so on. Giving up on RWD for your son who is learning yet is a mistake, imo. Every chassis configuration has its minuses, whether it's AWD, FWD, RWD or 4WD. A 90's Subaru sounds cool though, an Impreza wagon, sedan or coupe, if you can find one in good shape.
  18. But hyper, it wouldn't BE a Cadillac, it would be a BMW, and that is a no-no.
  19. Perhaps we'll land in Britain, where a Miniature FWD car was all the rage, baby. BEEHAVE!
  20. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/heP_p4eQ2wc?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> His name is spelled Mayer Hawthorne... The Walk. Another catchy tune.

    Sting Operation

Pertinent to the thread: I pulled up behind a ratty old red Shadow at a light with a blown-out muffler... and on the hatch lid was what appeared to be an original Dodge Demon sticker, with the little devil holding his fork, the tines of which formed the letter "m" in Demon.
  22. Adele... that is all...
  23. FORGOT... sawr a clean silver J-body Skyhawk SCS coupe being gingerly backed out of a parking spot by its 80+ year old man driver. Real blast from the past.
