  2. The rear bumper, is it just rusting off the car at the attachments, or was it hit? It appears to be bent along the bottom left side.

  6. Every single Prius we've had in our shop for body repair (both of them :AH-HA_wink: ) has gone dead after being parked for a few days.
  7. Is that a '58 dash?
  8. Those little outfits that look like hot dog rolls, complete with a squiggle of ketchup along the top, slay me when I see 'em. So cute.
  9. Alpha is such a no-brainer, perfect fit for Pontiac, I have no idear why Chevrolet needs the platform, except maybe for a Camaro 6.
  10. Live, from the heart of beautiful Amish Country...Lancaster County, PA.
  11. She looks hideous! :AH-HA_wink:
  12. Viper's sketches have always impressed me. Cory, do it. You have nothing to be ashamed of.
  13. Nice pics, Viper. The Cutlass could use some sort of snorkel, though, somewhere. A snorkel improves the looks of any car.
  14. Six speed automatics, DI and turbocharged, smaller displacement engines are fine with me if they ensure the survival of the brand.
  15. Sounds like a nice Firebird, Sattingham. One, two, three, SOLD! <--- Third G8 GT with big ol' yellow "SOLD" tag on windshield (first two went home) at local dealer, this one gray with cloth.
  16. If you want a truck but don't do much hauling, I'd go with the Colorado. It'll get you good gas mileage. I was happy with my Colo.
  17. Corsa diesel automatic? In white?
  18. Shoot, I know you say "no" to J-bodies, but they're perfect beaters. I'd rock a '95 Cavalier coupe if I were in your Nikes.
  19. The seam sealer caulking used in car bodies fails over time, cracks, becomes brittle, and ceases to seal the seam, allowing water to come in and eventually destroy the body with rust and short out the electricals, if not tended to. It's a natural breakdown. We get old folks from time to time with their beloved, but old, Grand Marquis or Town Cars complaining about water in the rear footwells. It's always the same thing, failure of the seam sealer up at the cowl/heater box area. The water comes in and runs under the carpet to the lowest point of the passenger compartment, the back floor, and pools there.

  21. I would place them at G6 first, with Delta a close second. Grand Prix would be a definite third place finisher. As ever, drive each and look them over as well as you can before buying.
  22. Love the swivel buckets, but they appear to be covered in non-stock material that is similar to, but doesn't match the original-looking back seat. The '73 GM A and A-Specials were very popular when they were new, less so now, but I like them, even with their park bench front bumpers. I think Camino might have a soft spot for this era as well.
  23. Yeah, Toni, I've seen two SVXs lately. One green one totalled at the scene of an accident after the guy lost it, hit an embankment, spun, and ended up against a bridge guardrail. Public safety volunteers directed traffic around the car, as the driver, stunned, surveyed the damage. The second was yesterday, a black one with gold wheels and graphics. These cars seem to be have a mild cult following.
  24. This is going to be a very interesting section of the forum. Nice job, balthy. More, please!
  25. I still think dropping the regular cab was a big mistake. Dodge, bring back the regular cab Dak!
