  1. Only felt two earthquakes, they're so small around here, but the pet dog went crazy as they were happening so realized/felt the vibrations. Only hurricane warning I was involved in was in a business trip to the RDU area, and it ended up being a non-event/weakened by the time it hit. Did get out of work early though :-).
  2. I talked my GF into getting the ASpec sport suspension and Progress RSB for her (first gen) TSX if I handled the installation. It used to handle well and ride fairly softly (almost as soft as a family sedan). Now it handles really well and rides firm. I love it, she's pretty happy with it but says "thats firm enough!". Not sure if I'll be able to talk her into summer and winter tires :-(. Took a "beauty" shot of it a few weeks back. When we picked up the suspension parts she checked out the new TSX. She liked that you could get lighter interior now without getting wood and some of the extra features, but hated how big it has become and try hard styling features enough to not want to test drive it.
  3. Aerosmith/any song on the sountrack of a Bruce Willis saving the world crappy ass movie Most pop R&B particularly Akon makes me sick Music by anyone who worked for or still works for Disney is less painful watched in video form with the volume muted.
  4. Here is the original review Kenzie wrote about the Grand Prix pre-Lutz intervention. http://www.wheels.ca/article/28664
  5. LOL lets make a "maverick" drinking or toking game
  6. The TSX looks much better with the Euro Accord grille, but I haven't seen alternatives for the TL grille.
  7. This car was a pleasant surprise to me as well when I ended up driving the RHD version of it while on vacation this summer.
  8. If it is a ES350 competitor, hopefully it has similiar features that make the Lexus ES competitive in the entry lux category vs just being a wood filled quiet driving refined car.. including the top notch interior materials and switchgear, stereo (Mark Levinson), panoramic roof (not the $h!ty embarassing problematic GM one), rain sense wipers, laser adaptive cruise etc.
  9. Something tells me it rides a little too on the soft side with 60 profile tires.
  10. It looks better than some earlier leaked photos. Just not in the cards for me to be enthusiastic about any vehicle in this niche.
  11. Just another generic rental car character Pontiac vehicle.
  12. Stacker hard drive compression software WebTV Compuserve & AOL Online client software Just about anything produced by Symantec/Norton within the last 10 years Any trial software that comes pre-installed on new PC's
  13. The VW leather seats look awesome as usual
  14. Maybe they really wanted to name them Frick and Frack but couldn't remember those names.
  15. Co-worker ordered one yesterday. No discount. He compared to Civic and said the Fit was so much more practical for cargo and funner to driver, it really was a no brainer for him.
  16. Well I guess that means I would meet my goal of not having to put any more money into the retirement fund by the time I hit 40. It had been looking pretty bleak the last year or so.
  17. I wish the Pontiac G5 had a better suspension and engine than the Cobalt.
  18. Audi R8 on the highway this morning
  19. A friend of mine got a nipple ring with his wife about 10 years ago (was pretty mainstream here by then), he's a strong silent type, had leukemia for a while and didn't say anything until his wife saw blood. Anyways, apparently he yelped in pain when he had his pierced and she cried.
  20. Oh it is "new" for 2010 lol http://www.leftlanenews.com/pontiac-g6-con...ble-future.html
  21. Meh if it drives the same as a FWD Chevy, I'm not interested. So much for an American BMW. I guess its up to Caddy to build a 3300lb RWD sedan.
  22. A nice black cup of coffee in the morning, and a nice bit of kush to help wind down in the evening euphorically. There is always room for masturbation in there too.

    WHEELS

Anything over 19" is just nuts. I think a nice 18" high quality lightweight rim by a company like Volk Racing or Gram Lights are sweet but I don't see myself spending $1600+ on a set in my lifetime GF's TSX has some 5 "split" spoke OEM Aspec 17" wheels I think look decent but they are over 20lbs.
  24. The Acadia is the only Lambda I think looks good/flows well past the rear passenger doors. I do like the Traverse interior though.
