  1. I believe its the platinum in the catalytic converters thiefs are after.
  2. Yeah I'm thinking he meant 4 months... Thats about my cap as well, every 5-6 years.
  3. NAV, pushbutton start, jeez.
  4. I know the Uplander is cheap, but wow I hated driving that thing. I felt like I was driving a horrid 1995 vehicle when I got it as a loaner. Maybe if I had a grow op I needed to transport "stuff" from I would appreciate the interior room per $$ it offered. Chrysler cars (not trucks) may be over 50% fleet sales. Wow.
  5. Yes but after 5-6 model years total, the Civic will be all new. Mid-cycle for it is 3 years. I don't think this is apples to apples. This g6 has been left out to dry. It should have got a new center stack by 2008, the way the SRX, Equinox got updates. Instead after 5 it looks like its getting new front and rear fascias that don't match the rest of the vehicle.
  6. I hate those fake chrome rims. Chrome wheels are so 3 years ago, and fake ones? Ugh. Its way better looking than the current invisible Cobalt or Impala sedans though thats for sure.
  7. Especially worth waiting 5 years for the MCE! Its incredible. I think enough to carry it over another 5 years with no more changes.
  8. ?? 2 and 3 are not compact? 3 is pretty damn big actually?
  9. Oddly enough there have been a few road rage murders committed against cyclists lately I got a flat in the dead of winter this year, -12 degrees celsius 10pm at night, and only one glove in the car. That sucked.
  10. But our dollar also dropped about 5%.
  11. Maybe its not as bad as I thought from the side. The rear still reminds be of the old Malibu with the huge chrome bar though http://www.leftlanenews.com/wp-content/plu...idg=1&idi=8 As far as American compact sedans, it won't be hard to be the best one ever as we haven't had good ones.
  12. After comparing the two, the new Kia subcompact has a better looking exterior than this Daewoo.
  13. Smallish midsize ~3200lb entry lux with excellent steering/handling/braking/refinement.
  14. Its decent for its class but I expect the next Mazda and Honda alternatives will still have more refinement and looks that are more appealing to younger drivers. Oh and I'm still not a fan of hood seams visible on the side of vehicles.
  15. Happens to me once in a while too. If I don't have to fully functional, I usually just inhale it away.
  16. I drove one with the "shelf" and it wasn't deep enough to be much use. I'm not sure what I would bother putting on there, it would just slide off and onto the floor around the first spirited corner.
  17. Mmmmm Leryn Franco
  18. Young technophiles will love that they can get OEM NAV on this class of car.
  19. Now make the drivers door close without feeling/sounding 10 years old please. Thats my only real nitpick along with the ugly handbrake which is personal taste, the rest of the car is sweet.
  20. frogger posted a topic in Honda
Doesn't look bad for the smaller than Civic segment. More conventional looking than the Fit anyways. Seems like a no-brainer for the NA market as an alternative to the Fit but maybe they're concentrating on hybrids for here instead. http://japancarblog.com/2008/08/new-honda-city/
  21. Saw my first Nissan GT-R on the road this morning. Real nice in person.
  22. Haha As soon as I saw the pic I thought that looked like a Canadian suburb. I don't think it is that much work, with NAFTA there will be no duty.
  23. Once I got my Keurig machine, the cafe visits have become much less frequent.
  24. WTF, 6 years in and this is all they did to it? I have to believe it will get a new center console and they just haven't put it on this particular pre-pro version The front fascia/grill looks like something that belongs on a $16K economy car.
