08 ACCORD EX test drive
The Accord has grown on me. When I see an upper trim level model with sunroof I actually don't mind the looks of them on the road. Atleast it doesn't have the high beltline look. For a fullsize interior vehicle it looks pretty compact actually.

Opel Insignia unceremoniously revealed a week early
Not sure what to think.. Maybe I had set my expectations too high after the Malibu. This looks decent but very derivative to me. I'll wait till I see more pics/video etc. Not thrilled with the amount of "wood" and how it wraps all the way across the windshield. I've never been a fan of the front hood seam showing on the side of the vehicle. Hopefully the trunk and its opening are more usable than the pic makes it look. Funny how the wheels from the old Aura pre-production vehicle shots made it into a pic.

LA Times' Dan Neil bumped from NBC Gear
Which half assed GM car did Neil skewer causing GM to pull adverts again?

Just curious?
New York City (and other top international cities) is great because the best of it can all be experienced fully without being dependent on a car. Its not diluted by gas stations, donut shops, big box stores and parking lots etc sapping it of character and energy all over the place. It has a very walkable and safe city core with lots to experience after office hours.

Canadian Pricing for 2009 G8
One positive may be that dealer markup is not allowed here.

Canadian Pricing for 2009 G8
Its payback for the more resiliant bumpers requirement ;-) I wonder what the gas guzzler tax will be on them.

2009 G6 Changes Posted
Is there a site out there that publishes/asks owners for real world fuel economy numbers? The 3.6L scares me. I wouldn't want a v6 family sedan that can barely manage 22mpg combined. ~$2K for gas a year is enough considering I don't even put 20,000km on a year. It would be too much even if I made $200,000K a year.

WE CAN'T WAIT TILL NOVEMBER
That former dictatorship version of Iraq will look like utopia in comparison to a post US Iraq. As mentioned by others, not every country needs or can be a western style democracy.

WE CAN'T WAIT TILL NOVEMBER
It was as Switzerland compared to what has and will ensue when they are left behind.

beleifs vs voting
Yes.. I definitely am not socially conservative and I don't appreciate attempts to enforce that behaviour on people.

Mark LaNeve: Camaro won't be positioned as a muscle car
Hmmm V6 + fuel economy, I wonder if they're talking about a current V6? Everything I've read about the 3.6L has been 20mpg average in mixed driving would be above average for that engine.

Mark LaNeve: Camaro won't be positioned as a muscle car
I always thought it was more Guido/Gino.. Though I guess the whole mullet/jeans and running shoes look did make up a large percentage too.

Check out this beaut
Memories of my childhood.. My best friend's dad had one just like that, same colour I used to ride in a lot. Loved it compared to my dad's Iron Duke Gutless Ciera.
