I don't expect much cross shopping of the Camaro vs the Genesis coupe. IMO the Camaro name has too much negative baggage for most people who would buy an import, and Hyundai too much negative baggage for people who would buy a Camaro.

How on earth did they last as long as they did without releasing a sequel?!? Hard to believe people continued to sink money into such an inept group for so long. I loved playing the first one back in the day. I remember the jet pack and the flushable urinals :-)

Have not traveled further than Montreal in the last 8 months other than for work. The travel itch is really getting to me though.

While I've never been a loyalist of any one car brand, I found GM to have a number of models that appealed to me (to go along with several that I could care less about). Pontiac the name does nothing for me though (nor does any other car brand name GM or not) and I feel the loss of the G8 more than Pontiac as a brand name since its the first Pontiac that I find very appealing built in 20+ years.

Yep, so is going on to the onramp merge lane to pass a few cars in bumper to bumper traffic, only re re-merge back onto the highway after passing a few cars.

Probably less trouble to buy a similar Cobalt, and source the badging, front grille, center caps and steering wheel cover.

I don't see more than Chevy and Cadillac nameplates long term in NA.

Pretty damn nice, Not too much I would change about it.

Just something they could put on paper to suggest they have a long term survival plan in place, in order to get more tax money and slightly delay the inevitable.

I remember ~20 years ago their amps were well regarded.

More choice = good. I don't think I'd buy the Hyundai but < 3,500lbs RWD is definitely appealing. I wonder if it comes with a decent suspension in 4 cylinder turbo trim.
