  1. Very close to what I want from my finished product, WMJ!
  2. Believe it or not, I see this pretty much as Evok does. This is a survival tactic and likely spells the end for Chrysler. Sad, but I can see the logic.
  3. This much, I think we can count on.
  4. I want a very bright white, but in pearl. A tiny hint of blue works, but bright is the key.
  5. I had a feeling that it was a custom color. Yes, it's for the El Camino and the two-tone is still the plan. I think i like the Aston color shown above.
  6. It was moved to a non-public forum. I don't know why, but I am trying to find out.
  7. I don't think we're there yet, but thanks Z. I wish I knew what the guy with the Nomad used.
  8. This looks a bit closer: http://community.webshots.com/photo/fullsi...032678210EIvxGG
  9. Kind of funny, since seeing a pearl white Escalade this afternoon spurred me on to post this request. The color on the Escalade is too yellow/cream colored for what I am looking for. I want to find a very white pearl with maybe a very slight bluish tint. I fear that a custom color might be my only answer.
  10. Ocn: Do you remember the Nomad at Carlisle with the pearl white paint at the GM nats show a while back? We were looking at the tint of that paint and it seemed to me that it had a slight blue tint to it. I'd like to find a stock white pearl that has that same look. Any ideas? Everyone: Please post any pics of cars in a factory white pearl, I'm trying to find one I really like. Thank to all in advance.
  11. Wish I could go, I have yet to experience Hershey.
  12. Wow! That discussion was a long time ago. The theories varied, as I recall, form just pure styling trend to crash force disapation. My theory was that in a frontal crash, it would force the fenders outward or upward so that they couldn't jamb the doors shut. I still don't care for the look very much. A cutline on an A pillar just looks awkward to me.
  13. Just fine by me. Now I can end my day as yours begins (and go to sleep with a smile on my face for a change thanks to this sighting). Now for the ST version. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. Absolutely! You are now famous.

  16. Exactly what it is. Someone posted pics of four that were flown in recently at the G8 board. The pic is really crappy, but this car seems to be one of them.
  17. I'd bet the barcode indicates GM ownership - this thing may not even have a VIN.
  18. Oh they marked 'em up, alright. Thing is, Ford followed up very quickly with a much cheaper Mustang with nearly the same performance and pissed-off all of the buyers. So this thing isn't worth the price. It's collectible to a point, just not that point.
  19. Cool. I'm interested in reaction from anyone who watches these.
  20. Damn!
  21. They aren't AFAIK.
  22. Nice catch! Thanks for posting.
  23. Not that much yet, Satty. But way too close.
  24. Toyota was estimating 1/2 of all production in the affected years (400,000 units). I haven't heard anything about it lately - but I haven't been looking either.
  25. It sure does! Thanks.
