  1. Tell us how you REALLY feel, Sixty8... I think the next RX looks eerily similar to the Venza in every way...

In light of the thread in the BMW section about the new 5-Series... thing... and hatches and wagons and all that ... I saw, for the first time ever, a Mazda 626 hatch.
  3. While developed countries find ways to reduce oil consumption, India and China increase theirs. Hmm... time will tell how well these two facts balance each other out.
  4. Your setup was all wrong! :duck:
  5. No, I hear you. But for some reason, it seems like it's been done before.
  6. I can get a group of guys together and carry this thing 0-60 in 17 seconds. This car may be "back-to-basics," DF, but it's regulated out of being sold here. Wouldn't survive urban US highways anyway.
  7. In order: Italian Mexican Chinese Japanese Caribbean (Jamaican/Trinidadian) American by default.

OK, two s from today: A 4th-gen Maxima... with fender vents, Altezza tails, and a VTEC badge on the side. A Venza on the road. No, it does not look better in motion.

Finally, an R8 in the wild. It was in the parking lot at my school. I find it interesting how you can see the engine in the "trunk."

Saw a Nissan 370Z on 95 heading to DC today. Looks like a pufferfish from the front. Not too bad though. Also saw a Quattroporte with black wheels on a tow truck. Not quite of note, but every time I've gone by a car wash, it has been PACKED. Everyone's getting the salt off their cars, it seems.
  11. BW3s FTW! There are two not far from where I live, although they're not exactly right around the corner. Also, they opened one about two years ago in the town where I grew up.
  12. I thought they at least used to sell the Koenigsegg here.
  13. So what do you predict? That China's economy will burst like the oil bubble of the summer or that they'll revert to how they were before their recent (past few decades) modernization movements? And is there a cryptic GM message in here?
  14. I vote "wait for the green." I'd be that one lucky person who ran the light that the cop was waiting behind with his lights off...
  15. *Superfluous.* Otherwise, on-point smackdown job. Did anyone chime in on how the Astra was the only GM vehicle to gain?
  16. I understand the dislike (it bothers me too). Don't approve of the method.
  17. Probably have better chances if he spells "apocalypse" right.
  18. Safe happens, huh, Cory? I know it's hard to have to let go of your baby like this, but you're still young. Another one's in your future.
  19. I give it to both teams 'cause they fought hard until the end. However (just like SB XL), I feel the refs should receive rings as well, since there were a lot of calls for Pittsburgh and against Arizona... including at the end of the game. You're right, that 100-yd runback by James Harrison was great. A friend of mine was saying that he shoulda won MVP for that.
  20. Still salty about Carolina no-showing the divisional roung game? I don't quite blame you.

    Bye Bye Bangle!

Agreed. At least I hope so. Chalk that up to people becoming more image-conscious and buying stripper models of 3- and 5-Series just so they could say they have a BMW.
  22. I watched the game on FiOS, so...
  23. Completely agree there.
  24. That picture of the Duggars is 4 kids (and one daughter-in-law) out-of-date.
