  1. Ford/Lincoln (D3s and CD3s are all good drivers... though I haven't driven the Edge/MKX) Nissan/Infiniti BMW (though I have yet to drive a newer one) Acura VW/Audi
  2. Rolls-Royce Phantom... stretch limousine.
  3. I've seen a few... what is interesting, though, is that I saw one yesterday driving beside a current-gen Grand Cherokee. Scary how similar they're shaped in the back.
  4. Hmm... let me see if I can figure these out in order, 'cause I always wonder about the "level up" process myself. Stock = new Redline = 100 Super Sport = 250 GXP = 500 OSV = 1,000 (guess) Denali = 2,500 (guess) Ultra = 5,000 (guess) V-Series = 7,500 (guess) Too Much Time = ? I Have No Life = ? ... is that right? Admins, what are the actual post thresholds for each level?
  5. Maybach, all black. First one I'd seen anywhere near Baltimore. I didn't catch if it was the 57 or 62. Also had to look close to make sure it wasn't an S-Class...
  6. Bernie Mac: "Say, that's nice. Real nice."

    08 STS

  8. Funny you say Skyline... that makes me think it's possible we could end up seeing this as Infiniti's 1-Series competitor Stateside.
  9. I honestly did not know that. Thanks for the enlightenment.
  10. Let me see where you're going with this, and also score off it... The smaller sedan (almost certainly a 3-Series, C-Class, and A4 fighter) should end up selling in higher volumes than the big brothers CTS and STS/DTS/DT7/VHF/whatever. And it will probably be more fuel-efficient than either of the bigger cars, especially if they offer a smaller engine (small turbo-4, de-stroked HF?). And this can help CAFE and enable Caddy to, for lack of a better word, breathe. Meaning the V-Series will live on, since it's really a niche/halo line anyway.
  11. I expected someone to publish them... VenSeattle, you're slippin!
  12. You get used to it... I know I have. My happy dance moment? Finally starting a job.
  13. He's talking about the inability to fit a V8 into Alpha. Though I am curious as to where he got that, since I've heard it a lot. Any resources?
  14. Radiator, thermostat, fan. Don't worry... my wife is still very much alive, however.
  15. I've been seeing that wood pattern in cars since the early 90's. I thought things were supposed to get better with time... Oh yeah, I have never been a fan of gray + wood...
  16. Perforated leather seats FTW! Only thing I don't like much is the gauge cluster.

    08 STS

That's always been the knock on the current STS (original and facelifted). It's not bad IMO, but I dunno why they didn't update the interior for this year.
  18. No argument from me. That's a sexy car.
  19. Good pics, Chris, especially the second one. It would have been great if you could have gotten a pic with everything lit up.
  20. If RWD, have AWD as an option. Not so much for me, but for my wife if she had to drive my car for whatever reason. Enough space in the rear seat so that someone my height (5'10") wouldn't have to turn sideways. Nav option available (though I can live without this one like I have for the 9 years I've been driving; I'm pretty sure I'd get my money's worth out of it).
  21. Now now, boys. Let's stick to the topic at hand, which is a quite nice interior job done by GM.
  22. Chevy HHR Panel Van in bright red. Talk about a hot delivery vehicle... I bet we'll see more HHR Panel Vans out in the times ahead.
  23. Ya know, while we're all here getting about this, you may have brought up a decent idea. I didn't even think of that.
  24. Let's get it started... with someone else. I haven't seen any yet.
  25. From what I've seen from many of the high schoolers I've worked with, many of whom have graduated by now... I mean... I only graduated HS 7 years ago myself, but there's been a huge paradigm shift since then. I don't completely blame you guys though... I know enough about the system. I congratulate you all for surviving it.
