  1. So could our favorite John Börger...
  2. Something about it reminds me of the M Coupe of years past, but on a larger scale. That said, I like it. ETA: Did anyone notice the small "Cadillac" script on the back?
  3. Jaguar XF Supercharged out in NW DC.
  4. I can guarantee you that much of this "market" wouldn't know the difference.
  5. Agreed on all counts. I never drove a GM pushrod (V6 or V8) that I didn't like.
  6. Who said anything about Bentley? Lexus is the only other full-line (and I use that term loosely when mentioning Cadillac) luxury automaker that doesn't use a 12-cylinder engine at all.
  7. I agree... and in limited qualities... and it doesn't necessarily need to be 7.5 liters (unless they went pushrod to cut weight ).
  8. I think so too, but like it was said earlier, with some of the anti-Asian sentiment thrown around here, it would be real interesting if the negative sentiment was turned toward Africa. Hmm... I wouldn't be too surprised if within the next 30 or so years, we began to see some development from someplace like South Africa or Nigeria.
  9. BUMP! OK, in light of our predictions and the end of summer being near, who was closest to being right? I remember saying $3.35, and we're dipping into the high $3.40s around my area nowadays. If you made a prediction in this thread, how far off was it?

    OH OH!

Good choice, Reg. I agree... the T-X blows away the Freestyle with the new engine. I test-drove both last year.
  11. That would make this place REAL interesting... and probably piss me off a couple of times.
  12. Also, many of the vehicles that became passé this summer can be had for a song now...
  13. How are you gonna trade your wife's car?
  14. Saw an Acura TL A-Spec in the commuter lot this afternoon.
  15. Money. I'd have an M45x for me and a Maxima for the wife.
  16. I've always preferred sedans, for practicality as well as looks. Just my thing, since I like larger cars and am always shuttling people around...
  17. Does it look anywhere near as massive as the Challenger?
  18. Fix'd. :smilewide:
  19. The other day, I saw my first Challenger on the road. In my opinion, it looks better when still.
  20. I don't think that it has as much to do with blandness as it does with the perception that anything made by Toyota is more efficient, reliable, or otherwise superior to anything that GM makes.
  21. I've seen EXACTLY one. I thought it was a rebadged Elantra at first.
  22. Wouldn't explain the rear changes though...
  23. Toyota must REALLY be trying to be what GM's trying to escape...
  24. OK, siegen, I went and sat in one today. Same problems with rear legroom that were in the '08. yourself. I put the driver's seat where I would be comfortable and then climbed in and sat in the seat behind it. Took a lot of work to get my left foot into the door, and then I almost had to sit sideways to give my legs space. But aside from driving impressions (I have none of the TSX to date), there's nothing bad I can say about the car.
