  1. So wait, No. 23 is domestic? A Detroit-based condom?
  2. How many of these do we need? How much lower can they position it? I mean, it'll be sub-Outlook, but will they sacrifice quality of materials to keep the price lower? I don't know.. again I see too much overlap.
  3. Every fantasize about a 92 Buick Century Special with it's own never-ending water supply in the trunk, Fly? I know where you can find one. It's silver with, well, some call it rust, and others say it has a patina finish. :AH-HA_wink:
  4. Last RWD car my parents ever owned. Just PM NDL and he'll tell you what a HUGE PIECE OF $h! that car was. I was very young... they had a 1982 Malibu Classic... white with blue vinyl. Dark blue interior. I loved the wheelcovers for some reason. But when I tell you, EVERYTHING was f@#ked up on that car. Hmmm... a/c didn't work from like a year in. No matter how many times it was fixed, it never stayed working. Rear windows don't open... just the little strips open an inch. I kept burning out a fuse, but we didn't know what was causing it. When I was little and used to ride in the center seat in the front, I would get bored waiting for mom to get out of stores and such, and push the cigarette lighter in to make it glow. Each time I did that I was apparently burning out the fuse with the horn. Mom got backed into by a truck because there was no horn (from me of course). We didn't figure it out until I was little and I pushed it in at nighttime, and sparks came flying out under the steering wheel. Check engine light was on from like day 2. Black tape fixed that. Again, PM NDL, he'll tell you all about it. I don't think the POS even made it to 100K miles.
  5. Wow... that Acadia is going awfully fast for Park.
  6. Why does he have to yell through the entire video?
  7. I have to say, a friend of mine had one of those when I was in college... and I loved riding in it. I never drove it though.
  8. Oh, so it got there alright? Make sure you wear it before you take the pic LOLAnyway, glad to hear it went well. How does it feel to officially not be a "teen"?
  9. Love it!

  11. That's cause the CTS is a piece of $h!. Seriously though, I'm going to assume there will be a quiettuned 3.6L in the Lucerne next year when the 3800's are gone, so that'll be nice. I would love to have a DTS-length car stay in the lineup... but it has to be more competitive. Sorry, but no more 4-speed autos in Cadillacs.
  12. kiss
  13. Happy Birthday man!
  14. So, how'd it go?
  15. Sometimes it's a little tricky to crate train a small dog in a big crate... give it a shot.Be careful with Beagles--they follow their nose... and they'll do whatever it takes to get what they desire... as did a friend's on Christmas day when it went to extreme lengths to get freshly-baked chocolate cookies it smelled inside a drawer in the kitchen (specifically put there just until the company arrived an hour later so the dog wouldn't get to them). Didn't exactly work. Beagles are just so damn cute too... I would LOVE one, but I'm afraid with their baying it might disturb other people in the neighboring apartments.
  16. No, she's not even my student. She's a friend of my student. And from what I understand, she's a horrible student. Oh, and Bob, I was one of those A students who never got detention. I was a nerd.. till senior year when I came out of my shell. OMG, send it to me! LOL It would be awesome to have an official Nick BMW insignia! LOL, I'd wear it on my "guido chain" (which, ya gotta keep, it looks HAWT to the shizzle (Oh $h!, I just dated myself cause I probably did that wrong)).Happy B-day man! :AH-HA_wink:
  17. I'm dying. That sums it up better than, well, anything possible. I'll give my stories later, but know that my principal was just let go (well, he was told his services will not be required for next year), because he's "too nice". And I'm serious about that. The staff love him. The parents love him. The kids love him. And that's the problem. I absolutely love this man... he is the FIRST employer I have EVER liked in my life. He paroles the building every now and then and always takes a minute to stop by my room and bust my chops. But it's alright, because he's the kind-of man that can take me calling him shorty or baldy when the kids aren't around, but then come back later playing a prank on me with a few other teachers. I look forward coming to work. This man has been in my corner all year.. he has supported me through a couple of rough patches (since I have a split schedule, and the other principal is a DICK), and has fought to keep me in one building next year because it's what I wanted ultimately. I doubt I will enjoy my next employer as much next year.

    Pictures!

Somehow "Uffa" seems to be appropriate to say at this point of the thread.
  19. No, she's black. And she was telling me how offended she was when she screamed "Hey Mr. G." when she saw a tan BMW with "me" passing her. I told her, "I have a gray Buick?!" Girl is a pain in general though.
  20. ugly
  21. A colleague of mine has had her Mercedes in the shop 3 times in the 9 months I've known her. It's a 2004.

    CHEESE

Ricotta... I make one hell of a ricotta cheese cake. :AH-HA_wink: As a matter of fact, I always like my spaghetti with sauce al masaniello (with ricotta mixed in) Mmmmm! And after having cheese in Italy, our cheeses here in the states, all processed, are horrible. z28, try to drain as much water out of the fresh mozzarella when you slice it and put it on the pizza... otherwise, it'll leave the pizza a little wet. When I was in Rome, I used to go to a fruttivendolo (fruit stand) and get myself a large peach, some grape tomatoes, and then I'd visit the salumeria (butcher), and pick up a large ball (little smaller than a baseball), of fresh mozzarella. I'd eat all three for lunch (the peach was my dessert), and the whole thing cost about 3,000 Lire at the time, which was like a $1.50. That size mozzarella here would cost easily 7-8 bucks!
