Wouldn't the simple solution be to deplete the battery to a point where the engine starts so they could perform the test? Several things cause the car to engage the engine. If it's below a certain temperature, the engine is on to warm up the car and provide heat. If the a/c is on while the car is only running on battery, it drains it quickly.

I really want to see this. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anyone who'll go with me so I'll probably be waiting for it to hit video.

Can someone tell me when car companies delete colors, and then replace them with colors, are they the same? Similar? Is it just a name change? etc. Because they delete midnight blue, and replace it with deep blue. To me, it's dark blue. They delete Black Onyx and replace it with Black Mist. To me, it's black. They delete Berry Red and replace it with Red Jewel Tintcoat. To me, it's red.

There's the redheads... I had strawberry blonde hair for a couple of years when I was born.. and in the summer, if I have a goatee, it gets red highlights in the sun.

Interesting... it appears the footwells are illuminated with white LEDs. Nice. I have a general question that I'll just throw here because it appears this vehicle doesn't have them... cornering lamps. I know they're available on the CXL and CXS Lucerne, not available with the LaCrosse nor Enclave. The Enclave does however have articulating headlamps. Am I to assume this is the new replacement for cornering lamps? I loved them on cars.

Okay, this needs to be the 2010 Lucerne replacement.

This is SO sad... that car is absolutely beautiful. There is NO reason why we can't have that here. And look, there was no problem making radio and HVAC units look nice in a center console.

There are two types of Sicilians: The stereotypically dark hair, dark skinned kind, dark-eyed, and then there are Sicilians who are descendants of vikings, and nordish descent, so they have blond hair, blue eyes, fair skin. I look like that. As for the facial characteristics, we share things like the nose, mouth. My best friend growing up had the same thing in his family--parents and 2 children were all dark, and one daughter, the oldest, was fair, blond and blue.

So, is this supposed to have any significant impact on fuel economy or is it only for the additional power, reduction in emissions and let Lexus say they have another hybrid?

Dear God no. The paint is uniformly faded, scratched, and in some areas rusting all over the body. Gotta love those 92 Buick paint jobs. Yes, but it hasn't been mentioned. He's the one who actually knows about cars, whereas I only know engine specs and say if I find something purdy :AH-HA_wink:
