Depends on the car, but can be several hundreds of dollars. From what I understand mine isn't that expensive... I have a 92 Century, 3300 V6.My mechanic told me a month ago that my cat converter was just starting to go... however, I didn't expect the symptoms I'm getting. I mean, I notice a sluggishness... just a bit. But I hear such a loud metallic rattling sound as well. Last time I heard that, it was because of the heat shield. Now, I'm also hearing a high-pitched chirping sound between 40-60mph... so I have no idea what's up. Anyway, sorry, don't want to steal away from your thread. Let me know if you have any of those symptoms too.

Not true... 10 years ago, Buick offered a nice forest green. But I totally agree with you. Well, what really irks me is that they came out with the midnight amethyst metallic color for the Rendezvous and LaCrosse for 2007, but uh, c'mon... a bold color like that never belongs on cars like those. Well, I have a very mild deviated septum... so mild the dr assures me having surgery would be a complete waste of time and money. I just looked at it, and the first thing I noticed was that there is a picture of peppers on it. I once asked my Dr, why can't I just cut an onion if I want to drain my sinuses? Just force myself to cry? He said those are allergic reactions. Well, when looking at this sinus buster and then reading the warning, apparently one of the ingredients, black pepper, is to irritate you to cause you to drain.Still though, I'm thinking of cutting an onion tomorrow just because my right ear is clogged.

Yes, I have used it.. I mentioned that in the end of my first post.It's a pain to use in my opinion, but it does work a bit.

I'll give the herbal pills a shot. When my sinuses are acting up, I tend to be drenched in my sleep... I wake up and my pillow is soaked, clothes are soaked... just sweating like crazy. To give you an example, in April, I had to put my a/c on a couple of nights because I was so uncomfortable... yet the temperature hasn't passed 70 degrees during the day!Stress is a big factor in my life right now... and I understand it can cause many problems. A friend of mine who is a 2nd degree blackbelt in tae-kwon-do has been urging me to learn to meditate. I know this sounds like an excuse, but my God, when do I have the time?! I'm working every day. Someone also recommended acupuncture to me, so I'm going to consider that. But I guess one thing I really need to reduce is my stress--or if I can't reduce it (and it'll calm down in about a month), I should figure out how to deal with it differently.

Thanks Loki, yes, I have one... I guess the brand I have is called Neti... when I wrote above I have a "neti pot" I assumed that's what they were all called. :AH-HA_wink: It works at times, but it's very uncomfortable.. you pass water up through your sinuses... on the way through, all the allergens in your mucous cause you to have this burning sensation to sneeze, but you never do.

I can't imagine getting my fat ass upside down on a bar, but I'll give it a shot sometime LOL

Wait wait wait... where have I heard this before? I think someone told me this once about a chiropractor helping their sinuses... but let me ask you, did you go simply for that or was it just a plus?

Okay... ... for YEARS I've been dealing with bad sinus conditions, FREQUENT sinus infections (to the point of having high fevers, shaking, etc.), constant sinus headaches from not draining, etc. I NEVER blow my nose. No matter how full my head is, nothing ever drains. I've gone to 2 ENTs, and they've both said basically, "you're kinda screwed." So, for the past 2 months, literally, I have not been able to breathe through my nose because of allergies... my sinuses have been full, my head in pain, and nothing is budging. It's hard on my students because when my nose is this full, they can't hear my pronunciation correctly, and it impacts their learning to a degree. Yesterday, for no reason, things moved in my sinuses and now I can't hear well through my right ear... it's clogged. As for things I've tried: warm showers, sitting over hot steam, drinking hot cups of tea, decongestants, allergy pills, antibiotics, local honey, and even a Neti pot--which has worked on rare occasions, but I find it very uncomfortable. Any suggestions?

Got news for you Fly... my friends who bought a nav system LOVE theirs... and I've been in the car out-of-state where it has come in very useful (granted I hated the car it was in, but the system itself proved extremely helpful).I can tell you right now, if I bought a NG LaCrosse or Malibu, I would get nav if it were an option. Because it's not, I would seriously consider competition who do offer it. I just get frustrated that some companies make it only available on their top trims.

I guess it's possible for the Super to be only 29,5. The CXS is about 27, and the Impala SS is about 28.

I'm a little confused... ... I've looked in the ordering guide and I've noticed that there is no choice for an ebony interior in the LaCrosse anymore... yet it's not listed under "deletions". Is it gone or is it just a typo? I'm assuming it's gone and cocoa is the new black?

Very interesting... I was wondering where those 3hp went. Not that 3hp really matters to this car, but it's nice to know it was sacrificed for something good like a sweet exhaust note.

What I can't understand is why they can't make the fake wood more convincing. Some of it is downright horrendous.
