  2. I would love to see the reaction of that guy who said, "We've been going easy on the big three", if someone sent this to his desktop :AH-HA_wink:
  3. Very interesting... I was wondering where those 3hp went. Not that 3hp really matters to this car, but it's nice to know it was sacrificed for something good like a sweet exhaust note.
  4. What I can't understand is why they can't make the fake wood more convincing. Some of it is downright horrendous.
  5. Fred Mertz. (sorry, been watching a lot of I Love Lucy before bed to unwind).
  6. Emoticon. I'm envious of you--I really have been craving returning to Italy for a few years now--lately moreso than ever... and a student brought something in today that reminded me of the awesome time I had in Rome and Sorrento (in particular those two cities), and I was ready to just walk out and hop on a plane! Bring me back some schnizzle.
  7. Only on the steering wheel and shifter.
  8. Here's the problem. It can look that good. It can be that powerful. I doubt many will get past the crooked "H" when it comes time to dropping $30,000+ on a sportscar/sports luxury car.
  9. You know what two colors I'm TIRED of seeing Buicks in? Beige and light silver. UGH. I mean, in my opinion you just can't get more boring than that. I'm anxious to see green make it's way back into cars' rotation of color. I like the sagemist metallic on the Lucerne, but I'd like to see some deep greens offered again. I realize that phased out in the 90's, but hopefully it'll come back.
  10. Calm down Bob, calm down: The LaCrosse has Midnight Blue Metallic as a color. The Lucerne has Light Quartz Metallic and Ming Blue Metallic. The Enclave has Ming Blue Metallic. Is that enough blue for the blue-haired crowd?
  11. Do we know how much all this new standard equipment on the LaCrosse will impact its pricing? And what exactly is the Dream Weave?
  12. So, I just checked the 2008 Online Ordering Guide and apparently that "cocoa" color found in the Super pictures is available on the CXL and CXS trims as well.
  13. Yup, I remember it from maybe a year ago.
  14. I find it interesting that the interior could look SO craptacular, same colored door handles, non-leather steering wheel, BLAND interior overall, yet it has auto climate control? God, I'd trade that for some color in my interior.
  15. Everything from the dash, the doors, to the chairs, to the center console, are leather-wrapped with contrast stitching for one.

I thought we talked about that emoticon? LOLSeriously though, Bob, in regards to your comment, I really don't think ocn was forbidding you to talk, I think he was just expressing some frustration--you and Pontiac were getting caught up in a side conversation few others could enjoy, in a post dedicated to posting pictures of oneself. I didn't chime in because I learned a long time ago people feel very weird around others speaking other languages... they don't know if they're being talked about or whatnot. So, I try not to speak much Italian on the board. Now, I kept coming in to see what the new posts were, thinking there were new pictures of Nick (had to say it LOL), but instead saw more of the conversation. Ocn, bad joke. Bowtie, you're not fugly.
  17. It wouldn't surprise me finding that in the Lucerne CX/CXL V6 though. (the 3900)I'm hopin' for the 3.6L
  18. I doubt the 3.9L is going to become the new 3800.I say good riddance... it seems GM can't build an awesome OHV V6 between 3-4L that'll shut up critics. They're better off using DOHC engines for now to at least avoid hearing "ancient engine architecture".
  19. I thought the 3.9L was going buh-bye in a year or two?

That's a great new picture of you
  21. I'm very happy to see new technology being offered in the Lucerne... it's a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, there is only so far they can go with this platform and equipment attached to it. At least next year we'll be looking at the 3.6L standard most likely on the Lucerne CX/CXL V6. That'll make the base even more appealing.
  22. It's a fair review.. the Aura Green Line is nothing special, but it does get the job done with some savings in the fuel department, and allowing GM to say they have a hybrid to compete with the Camry. It should have had the 6-speed mated to the 2.4L... it might get it next year since there will be a 6-speed offered with the 2.4L in the Malibu LTZ.
  23. Gotta be honest... last BMW I absolutely drooled over was the last 8-series. This looks hot
  24. Anytime this question comes up, my mother says, "You know who you look like? Your great uncle Dick." Yeah, so anyway, I'm an even mix... have one body part from one parent, one from the other, etc.
