  11. Space Shuttle.(Ocn, I don't remember what Adam-12 is, but I know I've heard it before. I think it has to do with an old tv show, no?)
  12. We had a brief stint of cold weather in November, but that only lasted a few days.. other than that, it's been a fairly mild winter. I'm hoping for a brutally frigid January and February. I want my snowdays! :AH-HA_wink:
  13. The Camry and Accord both only offer 5-speed autos with their 4-bangers. GM is now offering the option of a 6-speed. They're ahead in that regard.
  14. Yes, but as Honda has proved, with the Acura RL, people really want an 8 when it comes to luxury.

  16. I just had a thought... which was brought on by seeing NOS' latest chop: The Impala has a nice large chrome bar across the bottom of the trunk lid... is it possible up-scale Malibu's or V6 versions (since these are all 4-cylinder pictures), will have something like this? It would dress up the back. NOS, think you could chop the Impala's chrome onto the lower half of the trunk lid?
  17. And a choice of light or dark wood grains
  18. Wow... would have looked like the family in the back... it matches the Cobalt Coupe, the previous Impala... but I guess the newer lamps blend in with the current Impala, evolutionary of the current Malibu, similar to the MC, etc.
  19. Any chance there's an extra bulb in the triangular/northern half portion of the taillamp? Maybe for a signal? Or is it completely functionless?
  20. Wait... when are the 3.5 and 3.9 gone? Cause then that only leaves DOHC V6s, no? Save the 3800 which is gone soon.
  21. Reg... I wouldn't mind a stick, but in areas like Long Island/NYC, you'd probably get exhausted using one. Rush hour traffic would just make it that much more frustrating to have to operate another pedal and go in and out first and second... accompanied by the frequent panic stops on the LIE you'd have to endure. It'd be nice to save a little money by buying a stick, get a bit better fuel economy, but in my area, it wouldn't pay. I had a friend who bought a 99 Eclipse Turbo, with a manual... LOVED IT. He loved driving that thing--but when it came time to commuting in and out of Staten Island to NJ every day, he was finding it tiring to be stuck in dead-stop traffic (where you can shift into Park). My friend who bought a 2005 Corolla LE (I tried people, I tried), could not even find one in stick... he was forced to take an auto... his first automatic since his Buick Skylark back in the 80's.
  22. So when will we be able to see an exterior picture of a V6? All of the ones shown have a single exhaust.
  23. What I don't understand is why they wouldn't put the 291hp Northstar as standard in the DTS... and standard in the Lucerne CXS... after all, it is supposed to be the "sporty" Lucerne... the more power, the better, no? I understand you have to mash the gas a little harder to get it, but again, it's the "sporty" Lucerne.
  24. Okay, I'm impressed with what they're offering standard and standard on LT/LTZ... and this is only some preliminary stuff. Sounds like GM is finally getting competitive again.
