  1. Isn't it lightyears better?! I have yet to see it in person, but at least in pictures it looks a lot richer, and even more realistic! Thank God for that!Maybe for `08, if they refresh the exterior, we'll get to see the new corporate radio inside as well, and maybe some other tweaks to the center stack like the new HVAC controls (although I don't necessarily dislike the current ones, I do feel there are too many little buttons--some can be combined into larger switches like the temperature control).
  2. Yes, but their quality will have to suffer with such an enormous increase in production. They may sell millions the first year or two, but if their quality tanks, don't think people won't notice.

  4. I hope that's the case. It'd definitely be nice however to see a refresh. I'm very surprised they didn't change the grille/nose this year as they changed several things on the interior like the faux wood, steering wheel, gauge cluster, cloth seats, etc.
  5. My pessimism thinks it'll be delayed. We seem to have to wait for every Buick product.

  7. Uffa.. Not EVERYONE on this planet wants a RWD vehicle -- I'd gather most don't care.
  8. As I said in another thread, it'd be nice if the 3.6L put out at least as much power as it does in the cheaper G6 and the Aura.
  9. See, I keep thinking it's coming out in 2009 for 2010. If that's the case, then one more year isn't that bad. If it's 2 more years, I'd really hope they'd throw a new grille on it.
  10. Yup yup.It really could have used a facelift this year. Then again, it needs it because nothing will have the ovoid grille in 2008 with the goodbye of the Rendezvous, Rainier and Terraza. Not to mention, it just needs an update badly. The design is late 90's/early 2000's.
  11. Here is the image from that thread I mentioned:
  12. Well, it seems several rumors have been floating around regarding that, including shoving the 5.3L V8 under the hood for a "Super" trim. There was a thread hosting the "new face" of the LaCrosse under the Buick section (I believe it was pinned). However, I believe there was talk recently that the plans were going to be ditched. So, I can't offer any solid info.
  13. What was very weird for me was yesterday I was looking at a Cobalt SS in the parking lot and I thought to myself, "I think part of me would love to have one. I'd love to have a cool little well-handling, powerful beast." Then the Buick part of me came out and thought, "Nah, I want a Lucerne."

  16. The only thing we have to look forward to is the Enclave, which, although is new and exciting for Buick, is far away, and I can't help that the release of the Outlook and Acadia has stolen some of its thunder. I'd really like to see more action with Buick--quicker too. The Terraza and Rainer have to go, now. Rendezvous is leaving and being replaced with the Enclave (and the Rainier is kinda being replaced by it as well). I feel we need something else, and something exciting for Buick. And fast. Because none of the sedans they have are at all exciting. Don't get me wrong, I love the Lucerne... but how much of the world is as big of a Buick as myself?
  17. How about some interior shots?

  20. It's beautiful--lots of luck!
  21. The majority of people who begin smoking in Junior High School, High School, and dare I say it, the latter years of elementary, do it because it's "cool"--not because someone held a gun to their heads, nor because they have an insatiable craving for nicotine.

  24. I'd like the damn LaCrosse CXS 3.6L to get the same power as it's cheaper Aura XR 3.6L and G6 3.6L. I mean, c'mon... 240hp vs. 252hp. And 225lb/ft vs. 251lb/ft.I mean, that's a nice little boost if you ask me, 12hp and 26lb/ft torque. It'd help the LaCrosse feel a tiny bit more agile in its "sporty" trim.
  25. True, but I try to not give death any incentive or assistance.
