  7. Yeah, see, everytime I think traffic in NYC or Rome (to cross the street, you have to step out in front of a moving car with your hand out and then they stop), is crazy, I remind myself of this.

  14. I liked that one too I'd have to say--this was a very fair review. Because I am a fan of Lexus cars (shut up). I love the way they ride, and their inoffensive styling. Hey, I happen to love blands-mobiles. I openly admit it. It's probably why I love Buick. But if you asked me if the car was striking in design.. if it made a bold statement, I would honestly say no. Those positions are reserved for people who have been doing this segment right for years, and it was mentioned in the article: Those of BMW, MB, and Audi. Lexus still seems like it's forcing the issue of style into their cars. And it's not working. But hey, if I could afford one, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Oh, and I think I'd park my own damn car.

  19. I hope so--I really cant tolerate another Yaris-Camry-looking thing on the road. Theyre just so freakin ugly.
  20. Oh c'mon... THIS is what they went back to the drawing board for? I'm so sick of the Toyota's new front ends looking like they were carved out of soft butter.
  21. That's odd.. I haven't heard from a single person that the 3.9 is as quiet as you claim. I've heard it's quiet, but not so that you can barely hear the engine. And I've heard it's quite audible under accelleration.
  22. I don't believe that... I truly believe (and I believe this too), that Buick has to have near-faltless product, that exceeds the competition in almost every way in order to shine.Listen, I know the 3800 is an awesome engine, but it's WAY overdue to be put to rest. It does not belong in a luxury car. I know it's satisfying the old Buick crowd by being there and keeping the base price low.. I'm assuming it's in there just for the transition period. I'm confident Buick will remove it soon and put the much-needed 3.6L in there. I'd like to see a higher-performing, more-refined V6 in the Lucerne and a slightly more-potent Northstar, the 291hp version at least. But until the DTS gets a more potent version, we won't see that in the Lucerne. I still see Buick in its transition form. I am confident Buick will shine again in just a few years with awesome product.

  24. Well, usually on the Buick site it has an asterisk with a note that says "CXS model shown" or something like that. Maybe it has that on the configure page?
  25. Whoah.. the price of the Lucerne CXL V6 went up by about $1300! That's a bit much-- over $29,000 for a car with a 197hp V6 and a 4-speed auto?
