  1. I agree... Oldsmoboi texted me an ad he saw for a Regal lease, and I have to say if I get the job I'm waiting for, in some time, that'll be my Century replacement. ONLY thing I'm very upset about--no remote start--not even as an option.
  2. I'm curious--what about the stereo makes it inferior? Is it sound quality? Simply the display? The fact that it doesn't have a USB input?
  3. Yes, but understand this is not badge snobbery.. the Accord and Camry have bigger followings... but I guess my question is, at that price/trim, how do Malibu sales compare to the competition? I would imagine them significantly lower.
  4. Partially. I mean, it's a midsize Chevy. Granted I like it a lot, it has its flaws. And at $33,000, well, why wouldn't someone get a better car? There are a lot of things out there that are nicer for around the same price. So what I'm saying is, if Chevy wants to charge that much, they really have to bring a little more to the plate. Yes, yes, I know it has the rear seat entertainment. But we're talking $33,000 for a midsize that doesn't even offer Nav. And I only bring that up as a fault because there are people who would make that more serious than it really is. And yes, I'm aware that you like OnStar better.
  5. It bothers me that this car is almost $33,000.00
  6. If possible, I would like to see: 1) 0-60 video 2) Video or photos of interior illumination at night 3) Video of general around town driving I'd like to know average highway fuel economy. How does the 3.6L feel here? How loud is it? How quiet is the interior in general? Any rattles?
  7. Eww
  8. Interesting you brought this up... on Sunday my friend (an owner of a Cobalt) posted on Facebook, "What the hell does Service Teaction mean?!" Turns out it was supposed to be "Traction".
  9. Happy Belated B-day ocn! I'm sorry I am late with this--been a weird past few days! Hope it was alright and the sinuses cleared up. Mine have been so bad, I have been on a daily spray and use the neti pot.
  10. Happy belated B-day Dodgefan... good luck with the move and the new place
  11. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess they won't be using the current 2.4L--and will probably use the DI version instead, which by then hopefully will see a slight boost in power (which by the way currently puts out more power than the 2.5L engines in the Altima, Fusion, Camry and Accord LX.)
  12. I think it looks great. Only changes I'd made would be to add ventiports and fix the taillamps. Would love to see more cashmere interior shots.
  13. I knew a woman with the last name Kutz... she pronounced it Kootz. Maybe it's pronounced Koontz.
  14. Let's just hope we don't see her on tv with her child and the child says, "We did it for the show."
  15. I just don't get it. I'm doing what I can to slim down... I know the difference between now and what it was like when I weighed less. How could she not be aware of the differences?! See, then what's going to happen is, one day we'll see a special where she was removed from her house after they took the wall down and 10 men spent their work day lifting her.
  16. Why can't the state leave it up to consumers to request their meal be made with no/low salt if they're concerned? I don't have a blood pressure problem, and I've had a lot of food without salt--it's horrendous. And adding it at the table is no substitute for cooking with in the first place.
  17. Well, it wouldn't have been my choice, but Sandstone Metallic with a Cashmere interior. I will admit, in the sun, the Sandstone color is really kind of cool--in some lights it looks like a sparkly silver, and in others, a sparkly sandy color.
  18. Reg, I've driven the Lucerne a lot with the 3.8 (My parents have a 2006 CXL) and I'll say this, it is always quiet, smooth, seamless shifts, and easy on the wallet. Anyone who has gotten in the car has been impressed. The TONS of features that are included in the CXL trim really make you feel spoiled.

    snik-snik

    Good luck
  20. You beat me to it.
  21. It's funny you bring that up--I was driving my friend's Impala the other day and I happen to need to look directly where the A-pillar was and was shocked.. I actually have to shift my head to see around it! I immediately said, "What the f@#k is this?!" and she replied, "Yeah, isn't that terrible? It's huge!" Only time I ever heard her complain about size.
  22. You didn't need a truck to keep guys away... I've seen the picture Congrats!
  23. Same here with the lease. I'd love a turbo, but I'm thinking I'm going to have to keep the lease price down. Fortunately this car is so beautifully equipped, other than the engine not being as potent as I'd like, it's PERFECT for me.
  24. Honestly, all I do is change the oil every 3,000-5,000 miles. The car, more or less, has been flawless. It's at 193,xxx miles now, just passed inspection today and all I had to do is replace a bulb (front passenger directional was out).
  25. Congrats man! Where abouts? It looks like a beauty!
