  1. The electric truck market is going to have a lot of choices in a few years..going to be interesting.. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a29890843/full-electric-pickup-trucks/?source=nl&utm_source=nl_cdb&utm_medium=email&date=112619&utm_campaign=nl18693366&src=nl
  2. I saw it last weekend and really enjoyed it. The Adam Carolla documentaries 'The 24 Hr War' and 'Shelby American' cover some of the same events and are both excellent and streaming on Prime now. I want to see 'The Good Thief' and 'The Irishman' this weekend...good thing The Irishman is streaming on Netflix, too long to see in a theater.
  3. Really nice here today. Sunny and mid 40s right now. Maybe I will go out and blow leaves around later.
  4. Taking off Thursday and Friday. Doing Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant downtown w my sister. Probably going to visit a couple wineries on the North Coast Fri-Sat if the weather is nice. Maybe visit some local museums.
  5. The stock Cullinan is on a 129 inch wheelbase. It’s got an aluminum platform shared w the Phantom.
  6. This stretch Cullinan is cool..
  7. Check out Cleveland Brown Odell Beckham's Roller.... in Browns orange. And the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament was replaced w a figure of himself. I think I saw it in traffic one night a while back, something blocky and orange zooming past in the far left on I-90 coming out of downtown.
  8. Yes, as is Aston Martin and Ferrari.. Genesis may end up being the last to the party for SUVs. I expect McLaren will announce one soon...
  9. As the old saying goes, 'may you live in interesting times'...
  10. Well, it does look distinctive and stands out, doesn’t look like any other truck on the road. That’s a good thing, instead of same old, same old it’s futuristic looking. Whether that leads to sales, time will tell...
  11. Well, BMW does have a 1.5 3 cyl as seen in the i8..
  12. That's a very streamlined clipper. One article I read said perhaps the reason that Tesla went with this design is it is cheaper and easier to manufacture, requires far less complex stamping to do simple folded stainless steel panels than a conventional vehicle body. Maybe with this Tesla can achieve their zero-human plant idea..
  13. Came out the movie theatre after seeing 'Ford v Ferrari' (loved it) and there was a red '05-06 Ford GT way out at the edge of the parking lot. And my phone was dead.
  14. I seem to recall some vehicle had a decklid with openings around the taillights so when it was open the taillights were in a fixed position. Like how the headlights are on a modern Mini. But I don't recall what model it was.
  15. Some Audi SUVs are like that also.
  16. Cascada trunk taillights. Because the weird decklid design includes the taillights, they added redundant lights to use when driving w/ the decklid open. I remember noticing them at a auto show a couple years ago...r
  17. Cladding + ‘X’ in the name says CUV in all markets.
  18. Zero to 60 mph as low as 2.9 seconds, up to14,000-pound towing, a stainless steel body, and a base price of $40,000. We will see if they can deliver on these claims.
  19. Interesting they did go with a 2.5 4cyl instead of a 1.x 3 cyl or 1.5 4cyl like others in this segment. The cladding doesn't look bad on a dark color...on a white one it wouldn't look good. I like the front 3/4 view here.
  20. Saw this on FB...
  21. Ah, hah..I thought that was you..;) I can't imagine the production version will look like this...this is very much a concept car look.. It is funny it reminds me of stuff I drew as a kid, Musk and I have the same birthday (1 year apart)...probably saw the same sci fi movies and car concepts as kids.
  22. It looks like it could have been in an '80s sci-fi film...or Knight Rider.
  23. It looks like something I sketched when I was about 10. I was ahead of my time...;)
  24. Definitely looks inspired by some wedgy 70s-80s concept cars...the Citroen Karin comes to mind.
  25. Edgy..like that. When I had my diesel Escort 30+ years ago I nicknamed it 'Esky'. And I could see referring to an Encore as 'Ency' or 'Enky'..
