  1. I've seen a lot of pics of '69 Camaros w/ them, esp. in original advertising pics.
  2. I'm glad I'm not stuck in one either.
  3. Considering how many conservatives suffer from recto-cranial inversion or have a stick up their ass, I wonder how they feel about this subject..
  4. Yep..saw an article about it on Autoweek today...beautiful car.
  5. Yeah, vending machines are easy and tempting.... I'm working at a client's site for the next few months, and the snackateria w/ the 25-cent sodas and 75-cent candy bars, etc is about 50 feet from my cube.
  6. I like the taillight 'brows'...not the usual predictable compact car stuff...hopefully, the Verano will get a version of the new Astra Cascadia convertible.
  7. True enough... I spend my day sitting in front of a computer for work, and spend a lot of my free time...in front of a computer (laptop, tablet, cellphone, all the same, really). Such is modern life. With the cooler weather finally here, I'm trying to take walks w/ the dogs around the neighborhood every evening. During the day, I get 20-30 min (10-15 each way) walks at lunch, I hate eating at my desk.
  8. Slap on a 7 bar grille and round headlights, and voila--new Compass!
  9. Reminds me of a derelict early 90s Taurus I've seen around here a few times...been hit front and rear, has round headlights bolted on the metal bumper bar (the plastic front fascia and flush lights are long gone, along w/ the hood) and red coffee can lids for taillight lenses...
  10. It will be at that. I just don't want to see it beat on by media and idiots that do not understand what the real goal is here. Also I do not want GM to say we will build 50,000 a year. I would rather they under estimate the total. It is better to underestimate production vs over estimate it and look a failure. Some of the know-nothing asshats in other forums I'm active in are already calling it the 'Cimmaron II".
  11. Possible culprits: The easy availablity of cheap, high-calorie, high fat GM fast food Giant serving portions in restaurants General sloth, in part fueled by easy access to the internet and cable tv Suburbanization...have to drive everywhere, no walking We are becoming the land of the Sitting Dead...
  12. This is going to be a neat low volume halo car.
  13. It's odd...I recall seeing the ZDX at a new car show a couple years ago when it first came out, then very rarely ever saw them on the road. Then in the last week, have seen 3 of them on the road...(black, white, silver).
  14. Makes the Spark look like a luxury car... about the only thing this small here currently is the Mitsu i, I think...
  15. The Avalon is a nice Toyo-Buick. I have a friend that has one, refers to it as a Japanese Buick. A nice step above the ubiquitous Camry
  16. Coachmen makes a Pathfinder Class A motor home.. http://www.coachmenrv.com/products/pathfinder.aspx
  17. If it ran on CNG, though, you'd be all excited by it, though.
  18. Looking good..Weather Tech mats are great, I've had a set for over 10 years for my Jeep incl. the cargo area liner mat. They hold up really well.
  19. Looks like a nice clean, honest work truck. Low miles for the age, low price.
  20. I was told quite pointedly this week by some people at GM that the General is working hard at getting all of the volume sellers where they want first before working on the special cars that most of us around here wish for. They want their cars to be at or near the top of each major segment first. Have a good base and then work on the fun stuff. That is a sound approach. A company has to get the fundamentals right first.
  21. The local Cadillac store has at least 3 ATSes in stock..drove by the morning, saw a white one, a black one, and a silver blue one..
  22. Nope, just very little market demand. I like the look and colors of the interior....that new front end, though...
  23. 1) some old European truck? 2) '68 Mercury Cyclone 3) custom based on a '63 T-Bird 4) Bedford van
  24. Sounds like Faux News type garbage.
  25. I was in San Francisco the last few days for a conference and saw a few Fiat 500s around town, incl. a black Abarth. Even saw an old Fiat--an X1/9!
