I like that...love the stone walls around the fireplaces. Nice use of glass, nice big yard. I could see myself in that house.. a pack of Yorkies, Westies and Cairns romping around the house and yard.

But at the right cheap price, you could gut it, clean it and put in the engine, electrical and inside you desire and have a killer auto. Not worth the effort.

Yes for sure on the color scheme and treatments but also some of the interior walls could be better done with reconfiguration. My use and tastes tend to go for more great room concept where you can have plenty of frends and family to have over and this home shows the very old small room style that just kills being able to do anything with large families. I've had over 75 people in "this old house" for Christmas parties before... and I'm sure you'd consider my place to be too small. But at my place, we have three main rooms on the first floor plus the kitchen (which is closed to guests during parties) and the party is arranged in such a way as to encourage people to spread out amongst all of the rooms. My parties are so popular, that when I decided to stop doing them, I got several rather hurt emails from people asking why they hadn't been invited that year not knowing that I decided not to throw one. I was at my boss' house for his 40th birthday party last night..funny how people congregate at parties...the women generally stayed in the kitchen w/ the food and wine, and most of the guys grouped together outside on the patio where the scotch and beer was, with random conversations about Las Vegas, football, steak restaurants, scotch brands, and premium dog food...was a nice cool rainy fall evening in the desert. He has a 1 story 2400 sq ft '90s era suburban cookie cutter house on a lot smaller than mine (mine is 11,500 sq ft), but w/ high ceilings and unusually high doorways--9 and 10 ft tall. 3 car garage, but only room for one in the garage because it's full of stuff...

Odometer hit 140,000 last night. Discovered my rear wiper arm is broken, ordered a replacement. -
Looks like a desert setting....love the glass and overhangs.

Interesting...I guess I don't pay attention to the details of the surface of the road (beyond the lane striping, etc) when I'm driving.

Does the average buyer even pay attention to their mileage after buying? Would they even notice a 3-5 mpg difference? I probably wouldn't...

Saw a very clean '90-92 Cadillac Brougham tonight, white w/ white top...was next to it at freeway entrance light, drove parallel and behind it for several miles on the freeway, watching it waft along smoothly, Cadillac style..

Remember, we no longer have French Fries, they are Freedom Fries. So that would not be a Vrench Curve but a Freedom Curve which means only american metal! That is so 10 years ago...

I was taught by my dad to always keep a spare key to your car in your wallet. he was notorious apparently, for absent-mindedly locking his keys in the car. of course there was this one time I locked my keys in the car and discovered my wallet had fallen out of my pocket... Somehow, I've managed to avoid locking the keys in a car in over 25 years except for one time...the first day I drove a car to school in high school. Locked the keys in the diesel Escort. That was back when cars didn't have remotes and you had to use to key to unlock doors (and there were two keys--one for the ignition, and one for the doors--that's how Fords used to be). If I had a car w/ keyless ignition and a hefty fob (like current Cadillacs), I could see leaving it in the car by accident.

Would be neat to have wheels for the trailer that match the style of the car..

Back again...GS style this time

but why do they put that stuff on Lincolns and Cadillacs but (mostly) Not Benz and BMW? Different buyers with different personal tastes of 'luxury', I would think. Some BMW and Benz buyers go for oversized blingy wheels and lo-profile tires, for example. While the older buyers of Buicks, Cadillacs and Lincolns go for the padded tops and whitewall tires.. -
That's pretty cool..don't think I've ever seen a Corvette w/ a trailer..though I have seen one years ago w/ a hitch...saw a C5 in Colorado w/ a hitch mounted bike rack (a lighter version of the hefty Yakima swing out bike rack I used on my Jeep).

So what did you think of the homes in Seattle? Very nice from what I've seen...I was talking w/ a buddy on Linkedin last night that lives in Redmond...sounds nice around his area.

There are so many things about old houses I dislike...tiny closets, tiny bathrooms, inadequate # of outlets and old wiring... argghh.....my 1500sq ft house in Phoenix was built in '52. The back yard and huge pool are really the best attributes. My next place (not in AZ) is definitely going to be something more modern w/ garage space.

Depends on which type of Track your going to run your XTS. Wish I'd had the time to shoot a pic..saw an XTS 'senior style' today--pearl white, cream padded top, gold trim, wide whitewall tires, chrome wheels... -
Still haven't seen a Dart on the road. Saw a very clean yellow w/ white vinyl top '68-71 Lincoln Mk III last night.

Speaking of Japanese brands that are or have left the US market, I saw an Isuzu Ascender in traffic the other day...had to do a double take, hadn't seen one of those in years...

Saw an orange Porsche 914 that had rear ended a Camry at an intersection.... poor thing, looked like it had been in really clean shape...front hood was bent up, front bumper and fenders mangled..
