How about a Rottwieler/German Shepherd/Doberman mix? Adopted from a shelter, my sister and her ex-boyfriend raised Rufus from a puppy...growing up around tiny dogs, he thought he was a tiny dog..even after he grew to 85lbs...here a pic of him a while back on the sofa w/ my sister's two West Highland White Terriers, her Australian Silky Terrier, and my Australian Terrier (far right).
  2. I wonder if they will call the production version the CTS coupe or the CTC.
  3. Interesting... I have a cousin that works there, interior assembly line manager or something like that.
  4. Upon looking at the photos again, I realize the side profile (esp. the greenhouse) reminds me of a smaller, more rounded Isuzu Trooper blended with the current Ford Explorer.

My sister did that..she aquired a 6 yr old Australian Silky Terrier from a rescue mission in Missouri (flew from AZ to St. Louis to pick her up). 3 years later, other than a bad habit of pooing (tiny dog, tiny poos) and peeing in the house, she's a sweet little well-adjusted dog, gets along great with her other dogs. My Australian Terrier is a retired champion show dog, got her from a breeder in Phoenix.
  6. Yes..they are definitely money pits..I wouldn't buy one, but I certainly wouldn't stop someone else from pissing away their money. Personally, I try and avoid anything that's not new or nearly new (my Jeep is 7 years old, but I bought it new, my Mustang is 21 years old and was a money pit for a while, but I bought it new)...high mileage used cars are too much of a headache, IMHO.
  7. Maybe they can get the DI 3.6 to 335 hp for this... I love the design..the only thing I would change would be to use regular door handles.
  8. I bet they will..since it's like a tall wagon version of the Camry.
  9. Is the Vibe sold in Canada, eh?
  10. Personally, I'd look for one newer (2000 or so) with lower mileage..the older and higher mileage, the more likely it will turn into a money pit..
  11. This roofline is what in olden times would have been called a 'fastback', I believe... hence the long, sloping C-pillars and short deck.
  12. I keep seeing references to different versions..is there more than one CTS coupe concept???
  13. Without hijacking this thread off on another tangent addressed elsewhere, I don't think BMW & MB have anything to worry about..they have diesels.
  14. Interesting...an HD Burban... didn't the Suburban offer a diesel years ago?
  15. Kind of a Camry wagon...maybe they can call it the Camry Venza.

Agreed, this is absurd.... I'll stick with pure bred Australian Terriers..when I get another someday I'll name him/her Holden or Monaro..
  17. Maybe some sort of crease from the deckline into the C-pillar like the sedan has..not sure how that would work w/ the short deck, though.
  18. Maybe a 3-cyl version of the Aveo (or it's replacement? ). Hasn't GM done a 3cyl Corsa in Europe? I could see a subcompact model with 3- and 4- cyl variants (like a modern Geo Metro).
  19. Well, Cadillac could have played it safe with a more vertical rear window, a more formal roofline..but they went for the sleeker, more radical fastback with this..targeting the G37, I would say.. now what will be interesting is if the production version will be this radical..
  20. Interesting...clean, sleek styling..I like the interior. It'll probably be $40k, though...seems like VW is competing with Audi...
  21. I wonder if he can be blocked from this thread...he'll ruin it with his insipid whining. A production version of this would be great competition for the G37 and 3-series coupe, IMHO...
  22. Yes... FWD and 'sports car roadster' just aren't compatible, IMHO..
  23. True, those are good handling, FWD cars from quality manufacturers..but they aren't Chery platforms...Chery so far has shown the world it is garbage..
